Somewhere With You

"I can't. It's worse with him than it was with Aaron. Cause you WANTED him." Alex sighed, looking down. "I'm surprised that I could even try and not yell at him...." He frowned.

Mike sighed and shook his head.
"I love you....I wished you could give him a chance."

"I can't Mike. When I was just silent, that was the best I can do. I'm sorry."

"Alex, Im not giving him up like I did Aaron. I love Dwayne, he is my oldest child and Kevin loves you too but he also fucking loves his big brother. Play nice for us."

"I CANT Mike. You're not understanding me. That's the problem. That there is something you can't give up for me. I hate it. I hate how much you love him. I hate that he is your son. But not mine. I hate it so fucking much you will NEVER understand. You will never understand what it does to me that he calls you momma and dustin daddy, not me. You'll never get how much I want to crawl in a hole and die." Alex shook his head.

Mike sighed and pulled Alex into his arms. "Weather you like it or not, he calls you daddy too even if your cruel to him. I love you more than anything, but im not giving my baby up. I have given Aaron up and I do anything for you, this time, unless there is no other way...my baby is staying with me."

"I know." Alex sighed. "But Mike, I can't play nice with him. You know that now. So please, keep him away from me as much as possible..."
Alex couldn't help but wonder, what had ever happened to that ultimatum he'd given Mike? Him or Daffy? What happened to Mike not talking to Daffy again?

"Alex, we share a kid. I can';t just shut him out like that but you can see im not over there talking to him. You gave me my ultimatum and I chose you. I just told you how it was going to be with you and Lane."

Alex grumbled.
"Quit sayin that will ya?" He pouted. "Unless you want me to beat him as bad as you beat Lane. Now, you can give me an ultimatum if you want. I'll pick you."

"If I would have given you one earlier I would be long gone. You cheated on me. I do see Daffy every now an again but I dont freeze up every time I do, I dont feel the need to touch him or kiss him. No, because im devoted to you."

Alex sighed.
"Baby I think I NEED an ultimatum. I need to know that if I do this shit again you're gone. I guess part of me knew you'd never leave me and I subconsciously took advantage of that. I'm sorry." He frowned.

Mike sighed and shook his head.
"I shouldn't love you so much...it only even comes back to bite me in the ass."

"You shouldnt'... but baby I am so glad you do..." He sighed and hugged Mike tightly. "You know what we need?"

"I dunno therapy?"
Mike snuggled into the warm embrace.

"Well I'm sure we coudl use that." Alex chuckled. "But not what I meant. I meant a night to ourselves. One of our old romantic nights. While Kev and Rick aren't here. Just you, me, a dinner cooked by yours truly and possibly the bed if you're up to it." He grinned softly as he caressed Mike's cheek.

"Fine. A me and you night, but first make sure Rick and Kevin will be okay. Im worried about them." Mike sighed as he leaned into the soft caress.

"Alright. Lemme see if he'll answer." He texted Rick.
"You coming home?"
"Eventually."
"You okay?"
"Yeah.... you?"
"Yeah. Mike and I, we're good. Kev is at ITS house if you want him."
"Kay... I'm workin on something for him, then I'l come get him."
"What is it?"
"You'll see just as soon as he does:P"
"You suck."
"I know.... *sigh*"
"I was kidding, kid, jeez:P"
"Hush old man, go flirt with your hubby."
"Will do." Alex chuckled to himself.
"THey'll be fine. Rick's good and he should go find Kevin either tonight or tomorrow."

Mike jolted awake. He had fallen asleep while Alex had been texting.
"Good." He murmured sleepily.

"Now you seem tired. So want to wait til tomorrow for our you and me day?" He smiled.

"Alex....I am tired, we had a fight to day you cheated on me, I beat the hell out of Lane, Kevin hit me.....today was fucked up."

"Yes yes it was. Which is why I said tomorrow. Now, up to bed you go. Stop being so negative." He pouted, kissing Mike's cheek. "I know you have a reason to be but I want to start over. Fresh. No Lane."

"Yeah, lets see how long that lasts." Mike curled against Alex. Almost already asleep.

"It'll last forever. I promise baby. I love you." He kissed Mike's forehead.

"Love you more." Mike muttered right before his eyes slipped shut and he was asleep.

Alex was asleep soon after, small smile on his face as he held his lover.
