Somewhere With You

Kevin was in his room, all alone. He was sitting beside the big window in his room. His things had been unpacked and put away, Dewayne had forced him to eat a little bit. He was just sitting in his room alone now. Dewayne had gone to bed, Daffy was out and Lane was hurt.

Kevin was scared to go down stairs because Quincy was down there. No, he was alone. He sat with his knees pressed to his chest as he clutched the razor in his hand tightly. He slowly eased up his sleeve to stare at all the other scars that littered his arms.

He had been cutting since his father had told him he was glad he was never born. It eased the pain...And today, if he was alive today would be the day he ended it. But no, he couldn't die again. But still, he pressed the amazingly sharp blade into the creamy pale skin on his wrist, right on a big, blue, protruding vein.

His arms and legs were covered in scars and cuts similar to the one he was now making by dragging the razor alone his arm, making a deep cut which gushed blood but he was prepared, he did this often. He had a towel there to stop the blood with. He hissed slightly, but it felt so fucking good. He made several more cuts as he leaned against the wall and thought about all of his problems

Right then was when Rick had thought of a plan. He would get Kevin to forgive him. He had a piece of paper in one hand and a bouquet of roses in the other. He reached down and chucked a pebble at the window lightly. God, he felt cheesy.

Kevin jumped and pressed the towel hard against his wrist as he peeked out his window, surprised to see Rick. He slowly opened it and peered out.
"Wh-WHat do you want Rick?"
He cursed at the stutter in his voice.

"I LOVE YOU!" He shouted. "I sorta got you somethin here for you and I feel really stupid the more I think of it... but I ain't leavin now! So, if you'll just let me come up for like five minutes that's all I'm asking for, then I'll leave if you still want me to." He didn't even notice the towel on Kevin's wrist.

"FINE!"
Kevin shouted as he pulled his sleeves down.
"Door's unlocked!"
Quincy was asleep on the couch.

Rick walked around to the door and glared at Quincy on the couch. It took all his restraint not to beat the shit out of him...
But he walked up to Kevin's room and held out the flowers.
"For you." He nodded.

Kevin tried to glare but he couldn't. He took the flowers with a small smile.
"Thank you."

Rick smiled at him.
"You're welcome. Now, do not laugh at me... well I guess, you can laugh if you want." He sighed. "But this is my first attempt at writing a song and I can't sing for shit so..." He cleared his throat and unfolded the paper.

Kevin sighed and sat down on the bed as he waiting for whatever Rick was going to do.

Rick was so nervous it wasn't even funny.

Kevin's bottom lip trembled as he stood and wrapped his arms around Rick's neck before gently pressing their lips together.
"I love you."

"I love you too." Rick beamed as he lifted Kevin's legs around him. They were now close enough that you could tell Rick had been crying. A lot.

Kevin frowned and kissed Rick's eyes lids gently.
"Why have you been crying so much baby?"
Kevin didnt wanna assume things.

"OH I don't know. Maybe it's because the love of my life... scratch that, MY LIFE, wanted nothing to do with me." He caressed Kevin's cheek.

Kevin gave a small sigh and kissed the tip of his nose.
"I was upset, I was hurt, I wasn't thinking....I would never want you really gone....Now daddy, I want daddy gone at the moment. But never you, no matter how hurt I am, I might say it....but never really want it."

Rick sighed.
"Baby, what did your daddy do this time. He said he and your momma were good?"

"He told me to shut my dirty cock sucking mouth." Kevin grit his teeth and nuzzled his lovers neck.

Rick growled but paused.
"Kev, that is NOT okay but before I go scream at him, what did you say first to make him lose his temper?" Rick raised an eyebrow. He wasn't stupid and he didn't want one side of the story.

"Rick, I didn't want you do go yell at him because I said some bad things too. Bad enough for him to break down my door and hit him and then say that. Not like I didnt have my reason though, You get me hurt, upset and pregnant Imma say shit, but....I told it like it was and he didnt like that. Mike in my eyes is now nothing but a fucking slut and so is Alex."
\He would not longer call them mom and dad.

"Kevin." Rick gasped. "How... how could you say that?" Rick was surprised. This wasn't his Kevin...

"Rick.....I dont want you to scold me or hit me or tell me about my dirty, cock sucking mouth. I got enough of that with Alex. And I can say that because Mike had his tongue in your mouth. And Alex had it tongue in Lanes. But its all my fault the family is broken, because everything is always my fault."

Rick sighed.
"Kev I'm not going to scold you. I want to TALK to you. If Mike can forgive Alex for what he did, then why does it mean so much to you? And baby, Mike and I were trying to help YOU. Trust me, neither of us enjoyed it. And it was my idea anyways. So don't be mad at Mike, be mad at me."

Kevin turned is head.
"I wont be like my mother. He is so FUCKED UP all the god damn time and its because of daddy. I wont fucking to that with you, I wont be like him.....I can't take all of that shit.....He is so damn fragile and then he is pissed, he is fucking bipolar and Im tired of it."

"Kev that's just how your momma is. Now please baby, for me. Try and forgive them. Please?" Rick turned Kevin back around to look him in the eyes.

"He wasn't so fucking bad until daddy happened....He doesn't think! I know what I said and I had a right, what he said...fuck him. I am done with Alex Riley....Im mad but we all know I love my momma....How much I love you....and I even love him but I can talk those verbal....lashings or whatever. I cant!"
