Somewhere With You

Kevin bit back a sob but it didnt matter, he couldnt make the sobs stop.
Mike only screamed louder.
Kevin looked up at his father with teary eyes.

"What the hey?" Alex smiled, kissing his son's forehead before joining in on the screaming.

Kevin thought he was fucking going crazy. He was in an unbearable amount of pain and this was....helping?
"I-I love you guys...." Kevin whimpered weakly.

"We love you too baby." Alex smiled.
"You know I love you." Rick cooed.

Kevin sniffled.
"I-Im sorry Rick....S-So So So So s-sorry." He cried weakly.
He was sorry for the way he acted.
Sorry for upsetting his lover.
Sorry cutting himself.
He was just sorry.

"I'm sorry for almost hitting you." Rick sighed, his hand still hurt like hell from punching the wall. "But right now let's just focus on comfroting you."

"Y-You didn't." Kevin hiccuped weakly, his face buried in Rick's neck.
Mike was rubbing his baby's stomach, trying to sooth him.

"But I rose my hand... that's enough. Enough to make me feel like shit." He hugged Kevni tightly.

"B-But you didn't really h-hit me."
Mike wore a deep frown.
"You were...going to hit him Rick?"

"I'm sorry Mike. I stopped myself but I almost did, yes." Rick nodded slowly, ashamed.

Mike's brow furrowed, his eyes flickered from Alex to Rick to his baby.
He was pissed.

Alex put a hand on Mike's shoulder.
"Baby, the important thing is that he didn't."

"But still, he almost did, next time he might not stop and I wont have him hitting my baby."
Mike didn't know what to do.
Kevin snuffled and shook his head.
"M-Momma he didnt so let it go. I-I trust H-Him..."

"Mike, I won't hit him. I can't. I've never been able to stop myself when I was as angry as I was back there. I just can't hurt him." Rick shook his head.

"Alright...."
Mike kissed his son in laws cheek. Kevin eyed them weakly but did nothing else. Mike then looked down at Kevin. "And me and you and all of us are going to talk about the cutting thing Kevin." He warned sternly.

Alex nodded in agreement.
Rick locked eyes with his lover.
"You bet we are."

Kevin whimpered and hid his face back into the crook of Rick's neck.
The pain was easing off.
Mike patted his back.
"We are trying to help you baby."

Rick nodded, sighing as he remembered why he had been upset before.
He simply rubbed Kevin's stomach with a frown.

Mike watched as Kevin's tears slowed to a stop.
"Are you okay now Kevin?"
Kevin sniffled but nodded. "Y-Yes...."
Rick Jr had stopped kicking.

Rick kissed him sweetly.
"Good..." He hated how he couldn't be ecstatic like he should be for his baby kicking.

"Rick, im sorry about this....You should be able to be happy about this." Kevin sighed weakly.

"Baby you can't help that it hurts..." He said softly. "Ir's fine."

Mike smiled at him.
"It will only hurt sometimes now, and when it does you will probably be able to hid it like I was. Its not as bad...well sometimes it is but when that happened to me it was late at night and Alex was asleep so I was alone and....maybe twenty minutes later I was fine back to bed."
Kevin just nodded weakly.

Alex frowned aat Mike.
"You should've woken me...."

"No, I wouldn't wanna interrupt your wet dreams of me and Chris." Mike pouted before leaning over and pecking Alex's cheek. "You know I love you."
