"Baby I'm not trying to scold you or make you feel at fault. But have you noticed something? He only does that when you insult Mike, your momma. That shows how much he loves him. I hate what he does to you. I want to hit him right now. But deep down it's sweet. He can't control himself when someone talks bad about his husband. Think of it that way baby. And just, don't insult your momma and he wont do that shit."

"I didn't insult momma when he told me he was glad I was never born...."
Kevin sniffled. "And if he loves momma so damn much, then why does he hurt him? Why?" Kevin hid his face in the crook of Rick's neck. Was Rick going to be like that with him?

"Baby Alex doesn't try to. He doesn't wanna hurt Mike. I know sometimes it doesn't seem like it but he loves your momma. So so much."

Kevin sighed but gave a small nod.
"Okay fine. He loves momma. But im not going back....."
He would not go back to see his father.

"Baby... okay. But someday will you go back?" He sighed. "I don't wanna live here...."

"Baby.....Go home. Ill be okay here for a little while...Ill call you when the baby starting kicking...ill have someone else call you....I wont be able too."
It was going to hurt....

"No. Baby I can't leave you. Please..." He looked up at him pleadingly. "And Quincy's here. No way in hell can I leave you."

"Rick.....sweetheart. I don't wanna make you live here, I will be okay, Dewayne will take care of me. He is a really good big brother. You go home and be a family, Im done right now."

"No. Fine I'm stuck here." He sighed and sat down. He didn't want to be here...

"Rick....Give me a day or two.....Ill come home for you! Just...I can't look at him right now. I know I deserved it but God it hurt...It hurt so damn bad when he said that to me...."

"I know baby. It had to. I'm sorry." Rick sighed and held Kevin's hand.

"Okay...Go home....Ill be there soon, I just wont..I cant...talk to him or see him. God I love him, he is my daddy but...I can't...."

"No. I'll stay here for a bit... if I'm allowed." Rick said, raising an eyebrow.

"No. Im not allowing you to stay here because I know you dont want to."
Kevin kissed his cheek.

"But I also don't want you alone here with douche downstairs." He smirked.

"Well Dewayne and Papa will take care of me for you. I know they will if you will trust them."

"They didn't do a good job of it before so no, I dont' trust them. I'm staying here if they'll let me." He nodded, kissing Kevin's cheek

"They wont. I can make sure of that now go home!" Kevin lightly pushed him at the door. "Go on. Give momma and daddy my love."

"Kev, no. I won't let you here alone. I will sleep right outside this window. You want me out in the cold?"

"I can have them take you home and keep you there. Now go baby, ill be fine." Kevin pushed again.

"I'd like to see them try." Rick snorted. "No I am staying."

"Please.....Ill beg you....just please..."
Kevin sank to his knees and stared up at him.
"Please...."

"Kevin NO." Rick said firmly. "Now get up. I will not leave you here alone."

Kevin's eyes filled with tears.
"P-Please Rick....Im begging you."
And he was.

"Kevin do not cry." He said sternly. "Don't you do that to me. I'm not kidding. I'll sleep outside. But if that's what you want.."
