Somewhere With You

Mike picked Rick up and laid him down in his and Alex's bed before calling his lover in.

Alex walked in with the baby.
"Mike baby..." He frowned soflty.

"Alex......I am going to sleep with Rick tonight. I love Kevin but he wont wake up and.....weather you know it or not, your daddy, your superman....I want you to go take him to his and Rick's room and sleep with him tonight." He took the small bundle of blue from Alex and cradled it in his arms before sitting Rick up and offering it to him.
"See your baby?"

Rick took the baby and cradled it in his arms.
"He's beautiful..." He whispered. He wanted Kevin here in this moment. He wanted to gush over how adorable their baby was...

Mike was grinning at the small child.
"God Rick....he is so beautiful and so precious."
Mike was about to gush.

"I know he is." rick managed a small smile. He kept looking over, expecting Kevin to be right beside him... but he wasn't.

Mike was grinning.
"God Rick look at him, he is so....perfect! Look at that little boy! Mike hugged Rick as he cooed at the little baby.
Big blue eyes and a cute tuff of blond hair on his head. It looked so much like Rick but also so much like Kevin.

"I... want Kevin..." He sighed, biting his lip as he rubbed the baby's bakc.

"I know Rick....I want him too. He is my baby. But right now, im going to take care of you until he wakes up and you are going to take care of the baby." Mike yawned tiredly.

"Okay..." He sighed softly, looking at his gorgeous baby... "Thank you mike."

"You welcome sweetheart." Mike gently pushed him down and made sure he was holding the baby. He looked at Alex. "Im going to miss you Alex.....Im not used to sleeping without you and I dont like it but Kevin needs you sweetheart...." Mike opened his arms for night-night sugar.

Alex walked over and hugged Mike tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you too baby."

Mike kissed him softly and laid down, hugging Kevin tightly.
He would get no sleep...

"Mike you can go sleep with Alex. I'll be fine." He nodded.

"No. Im taking care of you for my baby and Alex needs to go..Im not asking him to do anything but lay down with him. He needs his daddy...."

"Alright then." Rick sighed and kissed Mike's cheek. "So where's Rick Jr. gonna sleep? I don't wanna hold him in case I fall asleep."

Mike smiled at him and made the baby its own personally place on the bed where they wouldnt hurt it and it wouldn't roll off.
"Imm my babies slept with me for the first few weeks....months..." He chuckled.

Rick smiled over at Mike.
"Perfect." He sighed with a soft smile. He could not get through this without Mike.

"Yes he is. Now daddy. Me and you need to go to bed, you will need it." Mike winked. "But I will be here to help you baby." Mike kissed the baby then kissed Rick before burrowing under the covers.

Rick chuckled, admiring his baby and kissing its cheek before attempting to fall asleep.

The house was silent.
But while they were all bothering with the baby, who was holding the morphine bag for Kevin? Who was paying attention to Kevin?

Alex walked over and downstairs to his son.
"Hey baby. Know you can't here me but it's daddy. Daddy's right here for you, okay. Let's go up to bed baby." He lifted Kevin carefully, easily in his arms, carrying the morphine bag in one hand as he walked Kevin upstairs and gently set him in bed.

Kevin let out a small hum, his head lolling from side to side, his lithe body shaking, trembling.

Alex hated seeing his son like this. He sighed, propping the morphine bag up on top of the dresser, so it was still up high as he laid down beside his son.
"Baby, Rick Jr. He's so beautiful. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Well besides you and your momma of course..." Alex murmured to himself.

Kevin's head rested against his father's chest. He was pale, under his eyes were blueish black. The bandage on his stomach was stained red. He was a mess.
