Somewhere With You

Kevin hated this, he hated hearing Rick cry. He couldnt take much more of it.
Mike cooed to him softly. "Rick baby please. I cant take this away from him."

"But Mike.. I can't do this...." Rick shook his head. "I c-can't..."

"Then what are you going to do? Leave him? Abandon him and your baby?" Mike frowned at him.

"NO! Goddamnit Mike I'm on my fucking knees bawlign here!" Rick cried harder, chest shaking with heartbreaking sobs.

Kevin whimpered before struggling to sit up with his belly.
"Rick get up off the floor."
Mike looked over at him before once again pulling Rick up and into his arms.
"Baby go back to sleep."
"No. I want him to stop crying."

"Go to b-bed." Rick hicupped softly as he clutched onto Mike, trying to stop crying. At least while Kevin was there.

Kevin shook his head before moving to hug Rick. He couldnt hold him with his belly but he could hug him.
"Baby, please. I want this baby and I wont be swayed."

"Kevin no..." Rick shook his head. "Baby please." He whimpered.

"No Rick, this is my baby and I am going to have it. That is final....unless you just dont want my to have your babies....." Kevin chewed his lip.

"Kevin.... I dont want THIS one... It will hurt you and I'll be upset with it..." Rick frowned, looking up at him with teary eyes. "Baby, I'll get you pregnant again I promise."

"No. Im to far along anyways, so unless you plan on giving me some sort of blunt, forced trauma to my stomach your stuck." Kevin shook his head.

"I mean when Mike is delivering it. I want him to save you, not the baby."

"I dont care. Its my body and I want your baby, our baby. I wont let it be hurt." Kevin rubbed his belly.

Rick turned away.
"Not even for me...?" He whimpered soflty.

"Stop it. This is our baby god damnit, You know I love you. So fucking stop it." Kevin's jaw was set.

"Whatever..." Rick looked away, tears still pouring down his cheeks.

"Stop it! Daddy!!!" Kevin wailed, he didnt know what to do, so when in doubt, call daddy.

Alex was immediately in the room.
"What baby?" He asked softly.
Rick was on the floor bawling.

Kevin hated it but he always just felt like his father could do anything, no matter if he was mad at him, Alex was just daddy. He simply clung to his father.
"Help me with him...."

Alex hugged his son tightly but whispered softly to him.
"Baby, you don't know what it feels like. Switch things around. Imagine Rick was the pregnant one. How would you feel? Wouldy ou want him to have this baby?"

"Rick is healthy daddy, he would be fine." Kevin buried his head in his fathers strong chest.

"But imagine he wasn't baby. Imagine that the baby would do to him what its doing to you."

"Daddy stop it. Im fucking serious stop it." Kevin shook his head as Mike once again picked Rick up from the floor.

"Kevin, see? You know you'd feel the same." Alex sighed, kissing his son's cheek.
Rick squirmed until Mike put him down.

"Alex, you stop it. You don't know what its like on our side so you stop it god damnit. And rick you fucking stay still, and yes, you have to because im your mother and I fucking said so." Mike snapped at them both.
