Somewhere With You

"I AM a cripple, I hate it but I am and I dont blame you for calling me that. If you want to tomorrow I can reintroduce you to your grandparents and uncle, you'll learn to love them too." He paused. "And you haven't met your baby brother."

"I don't really think my uncle wants to meet me again." He smiled softly. "And no I didn't even know I had one. Is he yours?"

"Yeah baby, this one is mine...." He sighed his are tightening around Zac.
"Are you okay with me? I know im not your real momma, I know you might not want me to try and me be...."

"I don't mind. I'm going to pretend you are. If I ever meet my real mother I'm calling her Sydney and if she wants to take me she can go to hell. She had a chance to raise me.... She didn't want it."

Kevin sighed and pulled the child to his chest.
"Okay, then your mine. Plain and simple, your no different from Rick Jr. You wont be second to me because he is mine, your mine now too....my two babies." Kevin grinned softly.

"You got it mom." He smiled. Genuinely smiled as Rick came walking in the room with the medicine Mike had given him.
Rick smiled at the two, glad Kevin was okay with Zac.

Kevin smiled at him and opened a hand for the medicine.
"God I need that, I don't feel good." He sighed, eyeing the crib.
"Rick hand me Rick Jr please...."

Rick handed Kevin the medicine, placing a kiss on his cheek then tentatively kissing Zac's head. He walked over to the crib and picked up Rick Jr. He cooed to him softly with a smile before handing him carefully to Kevin.

Kevin grinned at the baby, kissing its cheek.
"Well Zac, this is Rick Jr. Wanna hold him?"
Kevin smiled at him.

"Sure." Zac smiled softly at the baby as he took it from his mother. Rick watched nervously as Zac grinned and kissed the baby's cheek.

Kevin gave a jolt, his face screwed up in Pain.
'R-Rick...Take me to the bathroom please...."
He hated that he had to ask.

"Sure baby. Zac, hold Rick Jr for a minute." Rick nodded at Zac as he scooped up Kevin in his arms.
"Mom... are you okay?" Zac frowned slightly as he held the baby.

"I-Im fine...."
He put a hand over his mouth, trying not to puke on his fiance.

Zac frowned as his father carried Kevin out of the room. He held the tiny baby wrapped up tightly in a blanket.

The baby was smiling and cooing at him happily.
Kevin got the bath room and threw up everything. His throat burned, his chest hurt as he threw up his last meal and a little bit of blood.

Rick frowned at his lover.
"Oh baby, it's okay." He cooed, holding Kevin's hair back.

Kevin whimpered his head resting on his folded arms.
"I don't feel good Rick....."
His eyes were unfocused and hazy, his felt like the room was swaying.

Zac frowned as he heard his mother. He stood and set Rick Jr carefully in his crib before walking in the bathroom and kneeling beside Kevin.

Kevin didn't notice, his whole world was rocking back and forth, he felt weak as he gagged again. His gaze was beginning to fade.

"Momma.. are you okay...?" Zac asked softly as Rick continued stroking Kevin's back and holding his hair.

Kevin nodded, trying to make the swaying stop before he let out a whimper and just fell to the side, landing on Zac, all consciousness gone from him.

Zac let out a small gasp as his mother landed on him.
"I... I think he's unconscious." He said softly as he checked on Kevin.
Rick cursed and bent down, scooping Kevin into his arms.

Kevin seemed to be just as he was when he had Rick Jr. He was out of it.

Rick dug the palms of his hands into his eyes, to stop from crying.
"Baby, Zac, please go get your grandma." He said softly.
"Okay dad."HE stood and ran down the stairs to where Mike was.
"Um, grandma, dad needs you." He spoke softly

Mike looked up at him with a sigh before, noticing he was being nice.
"What did they do to you?" He got up and took the childs hand, leading him up the stairs.
