Just A Number..

"ZAC!!!!" Biddy hollered, his hand on the still back of his big brother.

Zac jogged into the room only seconds later.
"Yeah?" He raised an eyebrow as he walked in the door before a look of horror crossed his features.
"Wh-What....?"

"I need you to go get memaw. Your momma killed his stupid ass self." Biddy sighed.

Zac blinked a few times before going to shake his memaw awake.

Mike got up, yawning tiredly.
"What is it baby?"

"....M-momma died again..." He said softly.

Mike got up, taking Zac's hand and running up to their room before turning into the bathroom where Biddy was speaking.
"Oh my baby..."

Rick was still crying, cradling Kevin to his chest. Zac knelt down and took his mother's hand.

Mike frowned, gently pulling Kevin away. Biddy left the room and came back with his mothers equipment. Mike carefully cut Kevin's long hair before cutting the back of his neck open. He took Kevin's hand and twisted it, popping something back into place before inserting a metal bolt against his throat, keeping it in place to heal. He then sewed him back up and handed him back to Rick.

Rick frowned as he held Kevin tightly.
"How long before he's back?"

"Well....He is still not a very healthy person. So their is not telling about him." Mike stroked his son's hair.

Rick sighed, looking down at Kevin sadly.
Zac was too worried about his mother, he didn't even notice it getting dark outside or the time passing.

Quincy was waiting, he had been their since the sun had gone down.
Mike nodded to them.
"Take him to bed and...Make him comfortable. Maybe You and Zac could lay with him but if you dont want to you wont have too..."

"We will." Zac and Rick nodded simultaneously. Rick carried his fiance to bed. They both laid beside Kevin. Zac of course stayed awake until Rick was asleep. He kissed his mother's cheek before glancing at the clock. He cursed as he saw it was just a bit past one. He hoped Quincy hadn't left. He slowly climbed out the window as before and walked to the park.

Quincy was in his tree. He figured Zac forgot to come but he was going to wait for him...
Maybe he got scared off by the date thing.

Zac jogged into the park and plopped down on his rock. He scanned the park for Quincy. He frowned as he wondered if Quincy had left. But he decided he'd wait, maybe Quincy was just late too.

Quincy grinned before jumping down from his seat in the tree.
"Hey, little late arent we Zac?"

Zac jumped before smirking.
"Goddamnit, gotta remember to check the tree." He made a mental note. "And yeah, but I got my reasons."

"And what might they be?" Quincy stepped up to the small child with a sly grin.

"my mother has killed himself again. That good enough for ya?" He smirked. "Got a bit distracted. Didn't keep ya waiting too long did I?" He said as he stood.

"Well you seem fairly happy about it. Kevin cut a bit too deep this time?" He hummed thinking.
"And yeah you did, you need to make that up to me."

"Well, no I'm worried actually, but I find it hard not to smile around you..." he hummed. "And no, I think it was an accident, something happened to his neck. I dunno." A small smile worked it's way onto his face. "Oh no, how ever can I make it up to you?" He chuckled.

Quincy bent down so he was eye to eye with Zac.
"Can I have a little kiss?"
He tapped his cheek.

Zac smiled before pecking his cheek. He paused and pecked his lips. His first kiss... He couldn't help himself. He plopped back down on his rock.
"There ya go." He winked although his stomach was doing backflips.

Quincy sat beside him before pulling Zac into his lap so Zac had his small chest to Quincy's strong broad one. He took Zac's chin, pressing their lips together firmly, lingering their before pulling back and staring at the beautiful face.
