Just A Number..

Kevin shook his head, gasping as Aaron stepped into the door.
Quincy stopped, his baby was here and he looked scared.
Gave Quinton an opening.
He was sent flying, a fist connecting with his temple.
Kevin yelped as Quincy hit the wall with a thud, Quinton snarling as he stomped out.

Zac was torn between running after Quinton or checking on his boyfriend. It only took a moment before he decided. He ran over and knelt beside Quincy, hand caressing his cheek.

Quincy smiled at him, wiping blood away from his temple as he peeked over at Aaron.
Kevin had him, Kevin was taking care of him.

"A-are you okay?" Zac squeaked as he glared out the door as if Quinton would still be there.

"Im fine baby, as long as you, your momma and Aaron are okay im just fine." He hugged the small boy.

"Fuckin bastard... I'll kill im...." Zac muttered, hugging Quincy tightly.

Quincy smiled, kissing Zac's neck.
"Its okay baby...."
He wondered if they would ever make up.

"I'm so sorry Quincy..." He sighed softly.

"Zac baby its fine. Its not your fault." He gently stroked Zac's hair.

"Yeah it is Quincy. You heard what he said. Then he pushed me, thats what started the fight... its all my fault. I'm really not worth all this..."

"Yeah." Quincy said sharply, taking Zac's face in his hands and making him look into Quincy's eyes.
"You were worth that and so much more. Dont you let him get to you."

Zac sighed as he leaned his forehead against Quincy's.
"Okay.."

Quincy kissed him softly as Aaron wasn't looking.
"I wont let him hurt you or your momma or anything..."

"Okay baby... I can defend myself too. Just cause I'm young doesn't mean I can't fight."

"Zac, Quinton is a highly trained man. He was in the army his whole life. He is strong. He wont hit a little kid so dont go looking for trouble. I got him."

"I know but if he messes with my momma I will do something about it."

"That's fair, if he messes with your momma you can kick his ass." Quincy grinned with a chuckle.
"Momma's boy?"

"Yes. Proud momma's boy." He grinned, sticking out his tongue.

"Well momma's boy, looks like Aaron is stealing your momma." He chuckled as Kevin cuddled with Aaron on the couch.

"I'll let it go for now." He smirked. "Only if you cuddle me."

Quincy laughed but pressed the boy to his chest and kissed his forehead.
"Does it bother you?"

"What? Momma and Aaron? Eh, not that much. Until he starts ignoring me completely for him." He grinned.

"I don't see that happening...." Quincy nuzzled the soft black locks.
"Your beautiful."

"You keep saying that.." Zac blushed softly as he laid down, laening against Quincy.

"Because its true. Your so beautiful....Amazing..."
Kevin hadn't noticed the sun was already wanting to go down.
