Just A Number..

"No, he will get tired of it and he will leave me again. We fought all the fucking time. It was horrible because of me."

"Mikey you're not getting it." Rick sighed, shaking his head.

"I can't....He......Rick he left me.....He cheated on me...He loved Lane more....I cant let it happen again."

"Mike it has a bigger chance of happening if you stay like this..."

Mike mumbled something to himself and lowered his head, he refused to cry.
"I-I wont ever be enough...He left me when I was n-normal and he will leave me now...."
He cursed himself as warm tears rolled down his cold cheeks.

"Mikey please.... go back to yourself. We're all dying to see that Miek..."

"No....He will leave me...But he will leave me either way. I should just fucking disappear and save him the trouble." Mike kicked the wall, angry tears of hate in his eyes, he hated himself, he was mad at himself....

"Mikey stopp... no he won't." Rick sighed.

Mike held up a hand. He finished up with Kevin and made sure he was normal.
"Im leaving."
And he might not be back.
He jogged out of the house.

Rick wasn't stupid. He followed.
"Mikey... I'm not letting you go.'

"Rick, you have cancer and a sick finace. Go back home Rick. Im not doing anything." He shook his head.

"And you're my mother. And lord only knows what Alex will do if you leave. So I'm doing this for all of us."

"Rick, im MIKE to you. Im your fiance's mother and thats all it seems to be. Alex will get over it, he has Lane and Chris. My kids are going to be fine..."

"Mike stop that! Alex won't let himself go back to Lane again damnit!"

Mike turned to him and glared.
"As your mother, you go home or I will take you home and I will MAKE you stay there."

"You are my mom I'm sorry I don't call you it!" Rick exclaimed. "Just please, momma please stay..." Rick fell to his knees, cursing Mike in his head for making him beg.

"Rick get up baby, get up and go home, go to bed, cuddle Kevin. Just go." Mike shook his head.

"No. Come back with me." He said firmly

Mike walked off, trying to distance himself from Rick and his home.

Rick stood and followed him.
"Mike stop.... please." He rasped.

Mike turned and gently picked Rick up, carrying him one and locking him into his and Kevin's room.

"Damnit Mike! ALEX! ALEX!" He screamed, banging on the door.

Mike was gone, he had ran off as soon as Rick was unable to follow him.

"Fuck!" Rick threw himself on the bed, cursingl loudly.

Mike ran, and he ran, and he ran some more until he was in a whole new place.
