He Will Be Loved

"But we wuv you anyway!" She beamed, hopping down and back outside to pick more flowers.

Kevin giggled after her.
"Adorable."
He wondered about that last child he never met.

"Ain't she?" Zac beamed. He loved his children so much. "So... memaw... any luck with Angel?" Zac bit his lip hopefully. Mike had been looking for the eighth child so hard...

"No baby, I can't track him down. Someone said he was given to a foster care and then shipped off, I cant find him anywhere."

Zac sighed.
"I'm sorry Quincy..." He murmured. He was just as horrible as Jennifer.

Quincy pulled Zac to his chest.
"Baby dont worry about me, im okay precious."

But it was all Zac's fault and he hated it.... hated himself even more than he used to for killing his baby...

Quincy whispered to his softly, sweetly.
"Zac...Baby this is okay, we will get our baby back..."

"I know we will...." He sighed softly. He had to keep hoping...

Kevin looked over at him.
"And you know thats voices in your head?"

"Huh?" Zac asked his mother softly, looking down at his feet.

"Make them like you honey, make them love you...Just like everyone else."

Zac sighed, shaking his head.
"i can't momma."

"Why not Zac? Your perfect baby..." Quincy kissed the back of his neck.

"And a murder...." Zac sighed. "I'm far from it."

Quincy popped him lightly across the face.
"You listen to me Zachary Evan McGuire, you are NOTHING but perfect. You dont say your a murder again because its not true and its painful so just stop!"

"Sorry..." Zac looked at the ground, frowning. He still thought it was true but he didnt mean to upset Quincy.

"Damn well better be." He growled lowly, turning his head away.

Zac sighed softly.
"Love you." He nodded as he traced the scar on his stomach.

Quincy nodded, his own hand covering Zac's smaller one.
"I love you too precious."

"Y'know... I wish the babies looked more like you. They all got my damn hair." He smiled softly.

"I love your hair, I love everything about you Zac."
He would like ONE that favored him but he was fine.
"Maybe Angel looks a bit like me."

"I sure hope so." He nodded with a small grin.

Quincy looked over at Mike and Kevin as they whispered and giggled with eachother.
He noticed Jr had slipped off and was holding a knife....
Noticed him stumlbed...
He was out of his chair and catching the child in seconds, the knife merely nicking Jr and going all the way through Quincy's forearm.

Zac was the first one to notice of course. He gasped as Jr fell and then screamed lightly when the knife stabbed his lover. He cursed, grabbing his brother and handing him to their father before, examining Quincy's arm.
