Just A Number..

Rick sighed.
"He's made me and Alex cry so much in the past five months..." Kevin hadn't seen him but Rick had cried himself silently to sleep every night.

Kevin frowned deeply.
"Why in the hell were you Crying?"
When?

"Because he's my mother Kevin.... He left us." Rick looked down.

Kevin raised a brow.
"You cried...because you wanted your momma?"

"Yes damnit. I know, I'm a baby. Whatever...." Rick kept his head turned away.

"No Rick! I think its sweet and cute. I think you should go snuggle him, me too, we should all cuddle momma and daddy."

"Okay..." Rick sighed, standing and tugging Kevin with him.

Kevin grinned, standing and leading the way to his parents room where Mike and Alex were curled up on the bed.

Rick ran and jumped, landing beside them with a plop. He buried his head in Mike's chest without a sound.

Kevin gently pushed his mother over so he could lay between him and his father. Mike mumbled something before his hand came up to rest on Ricks hair.

Rick simply held him tighter as Alex squeezed Kevin.

Mike kept his eyes closed but gently stroked Rick's cheek.
"Hey baby...."

"Hi momma... I missed you. So much." Rick sighed softly.

Mike opened his eyes and wrapped his arms around Rick, holding him tightly.
"I missed you too Rick baby, so much more than you will ever know...."

"You're the one who left me though..." Rick looked down, feeling like a child.

Mike sat up and treated Rick like his baby, he cradled him to his chest and rocked him back and forth.
"I know baby, and im so sorry..."

"I... I've been crying myself to sleep every damn night..." He shook his head

Mike seemed alarmed, making Rick looking into his deep blue eyes.
"Why baby? What was wrong? What can momma do to help?"

"Because I wanted my goddamn momma...." Rick sighed. Never had he felt so childish..

Mike smiled softly and rested his chin atop Rick's head.
"Awwww baby....Im sorry....I just didnt think it would bother you all that much...." He hummed a lullaby lightly. Rick never got a chance to have a momma cradle him like this, sing him lullaby's and rock him when he was upset but Mike was just that kind of momma, a good one.

"I love you Mike." He sighed, holding onto his mother tightly.

"I love you too sweetheart." Mike sighed softly, there went that Mike again, he was not sure what to think pf that. Rick sounded like he was more of a formal family member instead of a momma.

"Damnit, don't do that now..." Rick sighed. "You are my momma, Mike..."

'I know sweetheart, its just hard to tell with you." He pressed a kiss to the top of Rick's head as he cradled him.

"It shouldn't be momma..." He sighed softly.
