He Will Be Loved

Zac froze, blinking at his mother before sobbing and running off again, desperately trying to find Quincy.

Quincy and Higgy were int he corner of the room, speaking to each other.
Kevin was rounding up his family to go home.

Zac tapped Quincy on the shoulder.
"Can we go whenever you two are finished talking?" He asked softly.

Quincy frowned,
"What about your momma precious? I figured you two were spending time together."

"Not exactly. He's being a dick so..." He shrugged, trying to act like he wasn't dying inside as he sniffled.

"Precious....I don't want him to leave on a bad note with you." Quincy shook his head.

"Baby, he said I won't see him for another eighteen years and told me to find Sydney cause maybe she would put up with a brat for a son. I'm DONE."

"Then he was never really a mother to you huh? My momma did far worse and I still love her." Quincy nodded.

He sighed.
"Quincy I'll always love him I just.... I don't do this." He sighed.

"We wont leave until you two have made up." Quincy went back to his conversation.

Zac shot a feeble glare as he wandered off, sititng down on the couch.

Quincy popped his ass as he left.
"No glaring precious."

"I can't even glare while crying." He grumbled.

Quincy got up and knelt infront of him.
"You look here, dont get an attitude with me. Im trying to help you baby..."

"Only momma can help and he's being an ass so, love me please." He sighed softly.

"You are both being asses. Yours is cuter but still precious." Quincy pulled Zac into his arms.

Zac cried into his shoulder, kissing his cheek.
"He w-won't come home..."

"Well neither will you baby? So how come you get to call him wrong? I know your had to go but from his point of view."

"Because I was gonna visit him all the time... call him every night... then he up and left like far far away. I can't visit him there... isn't having me visit every day better than not seeing me at all?"

"Zac....You dont call your memaw or Alex, or come see them alot. You never call you momma...come on now."

"I would have if he hadn't moved to some island in the middle of nowhere..."

"Baby come on now? I dont think so. Just...Look maybe I can speak to him for you...I dont know."

"You can try if you want." Zac shrugged acting as if he didn't care but he did. So much...

Quincy flicked his ear.
"Thats not helping anything baby."

"what isn't?" Zac grumbled, raising an eyebrow.
