When Crickets Cry...

Angel went back his hissing at his food, glaring at Higgy every other second, trying to burn a hole into his back.

Brayden smiled at him, chuckling to himself. It was really quite amusing.

Higgy sighed and looked back at him.
"Stop glaring at me and ill take you fishing."
Angel paused but turned to glare at his food instead.

Brayden grinned at him.
"So you guys fish a lot?"

Angel didn't answer but Higgy nodded.
"Yeah, he fishes sometimes, when he is happy he will swim in the creek. The water and what not calms him and the voices although there have been times when he freaks out. Anyways he loves it so I figure ill take him."

He nodded.
"Sounds fun. I've never been fishing before but," He shrugged.

"Alright then." Higgy finished eating and smiled at Brayden.
"Go get dressed."

Brayden smiled.
"You want me to come with?" He'd love to get out of the house.

Higgy raised a brow.
"Well yeah unless you got somewhere to be or just don't wanna go." He shrugged. "He gotta stop by my house so me and Angel can get dressed and get my stuff but yeah."

"I'd love to." He nodded. "Lemme change quick and I'll go.."

Higgy nodded, waiting as Angel finished eating what Higgy made him.

Brayden walked off, returning minutes later dressed in more appropriate clothing.

Higgy smiled.
"C'mon." He lead them out of the house and over to his own where he changed and got all his fishing gear, letting Angel run to his room.

Brayden hummed to himself as he looked around the house.

The house was nice, three bed rooms, one at the end of the hall and one on either side of it. The carpet was a light brown as was the tables. A tV a couch and two chairs were in the living room. The kitchen was round with the oven in the center. Angel's door was closed, Higgy's was open, revealing many broken things..

Brayden looked around as he waited for Angel to return.

Angel soon joined then, wearing a white tank top and some sweat pants with a book and pencil in his hands.

Brayden smiled softly at him.
"So where's the creek you were talkin about?"

Higgy grinned, pulling them outside, locking his door and leading them to the creek. It was more of a river, or a spring, clear water, the sun shining, luscious green trees around.
It was Angel's favorite place.

"DAmn its beautiful out here..." Brayden enjoyed this..

Higgy nodded, plopping down in the dirt.
"So, Angel, Brayden, you guys going to fish?"
Angel shook his head, looking up at his tree.
"You fish for me." He nodded, his words soft as he pecked Higgy's cheek before stepped back, getting a running start, running up the tree, grabbing a branch and swinging himself farther up. He sat comfortably in the tree, looking over the river.

Brayden grinned.
"I might, but now I just think I'll watch for a bit." This place was really gorgeous...

Higgy nodded, baiting his rod and casting, he took a deep breath as he watched for Fish.
Angel had by now found a small nest out on a small branch, even though he was in a bad mood from earlier he wanted to help, there was a snake trying to get to the little birds.

Brayden smiled, eyes never leaving Angel. This place was beautiful and Angel only made it better.

Higgy grinned, eyes the large bass nreaing his hook.
Angel chewed his lip, scooting out on the small branch. By now the snake was in the nest and circling the little chicks evilly. Angel hurried over, the snake bowing up and hissing at him, giving warning but Angel wouldn't back off and let the snake kill the baby birds, he tried to be quick and grab the babies, he lunged, but so did the snake, it sank its teeth into Angel's neck, making it look like a vampire bit him.
"Gah!!!" Angel screamed as the The branch snapped, Angel, the snake and the nest fell into he water, scaring away Higgy's bass.
"Fuck! Angel!!! Scaring away my fish!!"
