When Crickets Cry...

"Im just a loon....im worthless...All im good for is sex and I-I can't even handle that. They say I deserve what all he did to me...All the scars he gave me.....all the times he let people fuck me...made me play games that involved torture,....put me up to fight with someone to the death... I deserved all that..."

"Angel!" He whisper yelled, remembering Angel hated loud sounds. "I dont know who did this but I'll MURDER him. You didn't deserve that and you are good for much more than sex. I'm a teen boy and I'm willing to give up sex for you, you must be awesome."

Angel jumped, yanking away from him, lifting a hand to his face as if he was going to be hit. He looked at Brayden confused.
"Im not awesome...Im just the most interesting and newest thing right now."

"You are interesting but its not just that. And you stop that. I'll never ever hit you." He frowned.

"Well I didn't think Higgy would and he has hit me a few times, but that was before he got on his happy pills." He showed Brayden a scar right behind his ear.
"He frogged me....But that was a long time ago..."

Brayden growled lightly.
"Well I'm normal I think. I mean I got my problems but I won't hurt you."

"Just...." He was back to not touching him, backed away from Brayden. "Don't touch me please.."

Brayden sighed, looking down. Back to this...
"Okay Angel.."

Angel sighed softly, massaging his temples.
"I-Im sorry...."

"It's fine hun..." He sighed, smiling softly.

Angel chewed his lip, whimpering as the voices gave opinion on everything.

Brayden wanted so badly to comfort him, stroke his hair... hold his hand again.
"Shhhh...." He cooed.

Angel nodded to him.
"Shhhhh....."
The silence....He needed the silence...

BRayden stayed quiet as he watched, hoping Angel would callm down.

But Angel instead growled, rared back and hit himself in the temple, trying to make it stop.

"Angel!" Brayden gasped. "Stop that!"

Angel completely ignored him, hitting himself over and over again.

"Angel! Baby please!" Brayden bit his lip as he did the only thing he could think of. He reached out and pressed his hand to Angel's cheek. Maybe then, Angel would hit him instead of himself....

Angel screamed as though he had been burned. He slapped the hand away, falling back wards over the couch before taking off, running away from Brayden, into his room and hiding under the bed.

"Shit." Not the reaction he'd wanted... He followed Angel quietly, peeking in the door.

Angel's room was all white, all clean. His closet held clothes but besides that there was a few pictures, some files, bottles of pills, A Teddy bear sitting on the bed. The room was a mix of a room in the mental asylum and a child's room.

Brayden examined it silently.
"Angel baby... you in here?"

Angel said nothing, curled up under the bed, his hands over his head.
He was scared.

Brayden wasn't afraid of being hit... he knelt down and looked under the bed.
"Honey... come out..."

"St-Stay back!!" Angel scooted away, his eyes wide and fearful.
