"You know better....You were trying to punish me for something...."

"I was not." Alex frowned.
Maybe deep down he was, for Mike being so rude to Lindsay...

"Yes you a-are....Wh-When you hit me the first time I was being P-Punished for talking back...You whiped me I-I was talking about L-Lane...Y-You say shit b-because I was mean to Lindsay..."

Alex sighed.
"I wasn't thinking of it like that but... maybe subconsciously.... I hate Dewayne.. but I've never called him a bastard to his face..." He sighed.

"But your a fucking ass to him Alex...And you know what? I didnt know you when I had him...You had been with me for fifty five years....."

"But you are attached at the hip to his fucking father." Alex snapped. "I've not talked to her father in almost forty fucking years for you!"

"But did a cheat on you with him? Am I begging you to see Dewayne every day? No....Was a with him while your were screaming Lane's name? No...."

"I just found out about Lindsay!" He grumbled.

Mike shook his head, crawling away.
"Fuck you...."

"Fuck you too." Alex muttered.

Mike paused, sobbing but shaking his head.
"Keep the ring."
He didnt want it anymore.

"No..." He had been working on his anger but no way in hell could Mike say 'fuck you' without Alex getting pissed.

"Give it to Lane the damnit. Im done." He shook his head and tried to stand.

"You're ridiculous. You've done this for years. I do it one day and you're done." He shook his head, sitting his own ring in the dirt. Two could play this fucking game.

"Yeah! Because you fucking keep me away from mt babay but since you know what its like, you how the pain, its all okay? FUCK THAT!" He looked at the rings and sat down, digging a small hole and dropping them into it, marking it with a rock.
"There...Im Mike Mizanin....Your Alex Riley. We are no longer Married."

"You're ridiculous." Alex shook his head, standing and running off, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Mike sat there before digging up the hole and taking Alex's ring, kissing it and holding it tightly as he crawled off, wondering through the woods.

Alex sobbed harder and harder, almost bawling when he arrived at Lane's house. He didn't plan on getting back together or even kissing him. But when he was crying... Lane was the only place to go...

Lane was cooking, well trying too. Cameron and Lindsay were in the living room as he failed at cooking.

Alex banged on the door. Lindsay opened it with a gasp, hugging her mother tightly.
"Daddy! Momma's here!"

Lane raised a brow, quickly getting to them and taking Alex into his arms, holding him tightly and rubbing his back.
"Baby, go back with Cam, I got momma." He cooed to Alex gently, getting Cameron to take over the food as he carried Alex into the back.
"Boo...Boo whats wrong?"

Alex covered his eyes, sobbing into Lane's chest, holding up his ringless finger.

Lane gaped at him, holding him tighter.
"Alex...What happened baby? You and him broke up?"

"H-he said so.... he said h-he was Mike M-mizanin...." He cried harder

Lane sighed, rocking him back and forth, pressing kisses to his head.
"And that's his fault for letting you go Boo. Its okay...Im here..."
