Hectic

"You TAN'T die!" He sniffled, hugging onto him.

Gabriel shook his head, rocking him back and forth.
He didnt wanna die....
He was scared.

He whimpered.
"You tan't be my new mwomma if you die... I wub you." He whispered quietly, barely audible as he buried his head in his shoulder

Gabriel's eyes grew wide, he hugged the child tighter, getting his pad and writing for Riley to translate.
Riley nodded.
"Steven, You have known Mr.Gabe for only a day, its sweet but you dont love him and your daddy dont want him as a momma, he is sick sweetheart."

Calvin sighed as he took the small child.
"I'm sorry Gabriel. I told ya he'd try...."
Steven always scared everyone off...

Gabriel shook his head, reaching back for the child.
Riley spoke for him.
"Don't be sorry Calvin, Gabriel likes him....alot..."

"I know. Steven likes him to. I just don't mean for him to try this stuff. Hr always does it and scares people off." He sighed, kissing STeven's forehead.

Gabriel made more hand signs.
Riley nodded.
"C'mon, Gabriel is sick, you dont want him, so it dont matter. He loves the kid."

"Right.." Calvin nodded.
But he wasn't so sure about that... maybe he was starting to like Gabriel as more than a friend.

Gabriel reached for the child again, asking to hold him with his dark eyes.

Calvin nodded, handing Steven over. He immediately clung to Gabriel.

Gabriel kept the child pressed snuggly against his warm chest while he let Riley do his hair.

Calvin smiled softly as he looked at Gabriel in a new light. Talking, laughing even, smiling... then another, with CAlvin's arms around him, their lips pressed together, his hand in Calvin's hair.... the images kept changing but in every single one....
Gabriel was beautiful..

But Gabriel was a beautiful boy, his face defined, and his eyes were a unique color, sadly they were dark with pain. But around Calvin a new light came in them, the man made him want to smile, gave him hope.
But when he was go, so was everything her brought with him.

Calvin couldn't stop smiling softly at the boy.
He was growing very fond of him..

Gabriel sighed, handing Steven to his father and leaving the room.
He had to go.

Calvin sighed as he watched him leave.
The smile faded as Gabriel exited and he shook his head.

Riley sighed.
"He will be back, he had a doctor's appointment."

"I know. Normally, I'd be down there singing but I don't go down on weeks I have Stevey here." He kissed the child's temple.

Riley nodded.
"I like the kid, I hope ya stick around, Gabe loves him."

"Imma stick around as long as I'm allowed." He smiled softly.

"Great. Gabe don't share a room with anyone. You can stay here and share with him as long as you want."

"Oh really? That'd be great..." He didn't want to intrude...

Riley patted his shoulder.
"Look, as long as you wanna be here, we would love to have you. Anything to make him happy and you make him happy."

Calvin smiled.
"Well he makes me happy too..."
