Hectic

Gabriel cleaned himself up, got his nose to stop bleeding, washed his clothes and put on clean low riding jenes and a long sleeved shirt. He stepped out, his hair fixed with a smile as he sat with his boyfriend.
He opened his arms for Steven.

Steven crawled into his arms, hugging him around the waist.
"I mished you... and daddy... she neber hits me dis hawd." He paused.
Stephanie had popped him in the mouth like usual. He had glared and told her that he had a better momma anyways... Gabriel.. she'd flipped and punched him.

Gabriel had the child tightly, breaking deeply. He would protect this child. The look in his eyes warned Calvin he would fight to keep Steven here with them and away from Stephanie.

"She got angwy tause i said Dabe was a bettew mwomma..." He nodded.
Calvin kissed his temple.

Gabe look down at him, frowning but his heart swelled with love for the small child.
He held him closer, pressed to his chest.

"I wub you Dabe." He nodded, hugging him close. Calvin smiled softly. Steven had never once told Stephanie he loved her..

Gabriel chewed his lip, gently pushing the child back and getting ready to say something else. He never spoke and twice in one day was something for him.

Steven looked up at him curiously while Calvin smiled.

Gabriel pulled him back, whispering, but it was all he could do. He had never been loud.
"I....love....you...Steven..." He nodded.

Steven beamed at him.
"He talked daddy!"
"I know sweety." Calvin grinned widely, kissing Gabriel's cheek.

Gabriel grinned at the small boy, hugging him.
He was happy....
He had AIDS.
His mother didnt love him.
He died.
But he had a boyfriend.
And a kid....
He was happy..

Steven beamed up at him.
This was the happiest the small child had evre been.

Gabriel sighed softly and laid back on the couch tiredly.

Calvin laid down and pulled Steven in between them. Steven yawned and stuck his thumb in his mouth.

Gabriel cuddled close to the small boy, sighing softly. He was tired...

"Go to sleep sweety." Calvin cooed softly, stroking Gabriel's hair.

Gabriel was trying too. It was just hard. He felt horrible...

Calvin wasn't tired but he stayed in bed with his two babies. Steven was already asleep.

Gabriel wanted to sleep but he couldnt. He just looked at the small child and his hurt face.

Calvin watched them both silently.
He loved them both so much....

Gabriel took Calvins hand. He wanted custody of Steven...

Calvin silently stood and walked to Gabriel's side.
He bent down and pressed their lips together softly before pulling back.

Gabriel immediately started panicking, having a mini tantrum and giving Calvin a heart broken look.

"Gee, kissing me is that bad?" He smiled softly. "Baby, I looked it up. We can kiss all we wanna. And if we both wear condoms, someday we can even have sex although I'm not even thinking of trying that right now." He nodded.

Gabriel paused, calming himself and nodding. A smile spreading across his face.
He clapped his hands.
