Can't Go On

Aaron was not kidding, he was packing his things up.
Riley looked at the kid and just knew.

"Riley can you please try to talk to Aaron for me?" Zac pleaded his son.

"I-I...Momma....He...." Riley didn't know, Aaron was like his father, when set on something you couldnt change his mind.

"I..." He looked down at Jude who stared back at him with teary eyes. Jude whimpered.

"He is leaving momma....." Riley looked heart broken. Aaron was the only one besides their father who would throw a foot ball with him and such...
Aaron was leaving...

"No... he isn't. Tell him I'm getting rid of the kid please." Zac sighed as he looked down at Jude and walked out the door. He walked to his parents house and knocked on the door.

Kevin opened the door, immediately hugging Zac to his chest.
"Hey baby!!!"

Zac was almost in tears.
"Hey momma... I have a HUGE favor to ask you..." He paused, kissing Jude's temple. "This is... Jude. He's.. Marks."

Kevin blinked at him, remembering.
He had named one of Zac's babies Jude...
The one he killed.
"Oh...."
Kevin grinned at the child.
"Hey Jude."

"Hewoo." Jude waved timidly.
"Quincy doesn't know yet. But I told Aaron and... he threatened to leave if I kept Jude... I just..." He sighed, lip trembling. "Can you watch him for a bit for me? A few days, maybe weeks? Just until I convince Quincy to keep him and Aaron to stay?"

Riley had gone and talked his brother down, getting him to unpack and stay with the family. Riley always had been good when it came to making Aaron understand things. So now he was off to his grand parents house to get his mother and tell him that Aaron was staying home.

Zac was trying to talk his mother into keeping Jude for a while.

Riley ran up to his mother and grinned.
"Momma guess what!!!! I got him to stay!!"

"Oh thank you baby." Zac smiled softly. "Momma, can you still keep an eye on him for the rest of the day? Til I find a way to tell Quincy?"

Kevin nodded.
"Sure baby." He picked Jude up and pecked his cheek.
"Im your grandma Kevin."

"Thank you momma. Love you baby." He kissed Kevin's cheek then Jude's.
Jude smiled shyly.
"Hi gwammy."

"C'mon, wanna see your uncle Jr?" He grinned, taking the boy inside to his son.

"Otay." He nodded, looking around. This was all so new to him.
Zac walked home with Riley, thanking him again and again.

Riley lead his mother inside where Aaron was trying to help Angel wash a car and somehow they had gotten into a water hose fight.

Zac smiled softly at them.
"So did your dad mention where he was going when he stormed out?"

"No, he just went to cool off before he killed one of us." Aaron laughed lightly.

Zac chuckled.
"Alright then. I'll wait for him. Hopefully he won't be pisssed when he gets back.

"Fat chance." Aaron shrugged. "And if not he will be soon enough with that little bastard kid here."

"Just wonderful..." Zac groaned. "Well I'll work on it.."

"Sue ya will momma. Thats going to help." He cracked his neck, now soaking wet because of Angel.
