Can't Go On

"If they have him... goddamnit... I really don't feel like getting in a fight but I'll fucking murder them both single handed if I have to..."

Dustin got up, looking out as the mail came.
"Damnit, I gotta go get that, be right back."
He walked out and got the mail, coming back and sitting it down but a small box caught his attention. He picked it up, shrugging and opening it, his eyes growing wide.
Inside was a finger, at the base was a wedding ring, Dustin's wedding ring...

Chris still had Rick's hands over his ears but not his eyes...
He screamed. He fucking screamed at the top of his lungs. Rick cursed.
"Shit, shit shit. FUCK! Quincy, I'm out." He stood, grabbed one of Dustin's guns and was out the door.

Quincy shook his head, standing and hugging Chris tightly.
"Its okay..."

Chris shook as he held onto his brother in law he barely knew. IT wasn't okay... no... he'd told Dustin that would never happen again now that he had Chris...

Quincy held him tightly, looking around.
"LANCE!!!!"

Lance ran into the room
"What? News on daddy?" He asked hopefully.

Quincy didnt know why to say so he looked around.
"Do you know how your daddy died."

"Yeah...." Lance nodded, furrowing his brow.

"The real way kid?" He looked at Chris.
"Does he know?"

Chris nodded tearfully.
"Momma whats wrong?" Lance put the pieces together. "No..."

Quincy handed him the box and hugged Chris tighter.
"Its okay Chris. He will be fine."

"Are you insane?! He will not be fine! Thats his fucking finger... what else are they going to do?!" He cried, hugging Quincy as tight as he could
Lance almost had the same reaction as his mother. But he yelped and dropped the box.

"You dont want to know Chris." He pulled Lance into his arms.
They would do much worse.

Chris shook as he held onto his son, crying into his brother in law's shoulder.

The Quincy had his family come stay in the house with Chris and Lance so he could protect them all.
Once a week, every week a new severed body part would come in the mail.
It had been three weeks since getting the finger.
They now had the finger, his teeth, nine finger nails, His eye lids, and today they got another. Quincy handed it to Chris with a frown.
It was his tongue.

Chris was shaking. He swore, he hadn't stopped crying since they'd received the finger. After the first week, Rick had given up trying to find them and had settled on comforting his brother.
"Hey, think on the bright side, maybe next week they'll send you his dick."
"Rick that is so NOT funny."
"Sorry. I try."

Quincy sat back.
"Yeah Rick, What fun it will be to get that and know what Dustin had to go through for them to get it. You know they have him paralyzed, he said they did it with some kind of fish poison so he felt everything....they used adrenaline so he couldnt pass out or bleed to death and he couldnt move."

Chris clamped his hands over his ears.
"Quincy thats great and all but I'd rather not know..."

"Just saying."
He looked up as the phone rang. He picked it up and was met with the sound of his brothers screams.
The phone slipped from his hand.

Rick frowned and picked it up. He also dropped the phone. Chris looked confused and before Rick could stop him, he'd picked it up.
Chris let out a strangled scream to match his lover's on the other line.

Quincy hugged him, picking the phone back.
"Hello? Hello?"
No answer.
The line went dead.

Chris trembled, putting his head in his hands.
"He didn't fucking do anything to deserve this!!"

"Maybe this is his punishment for how he acted to Lance." Riley pipped up.
"Maybe he deserves it."

Chris whipped his head around to glare at Riley.
"Boy, you say one more fucking word and I will beat you so hard and fast you won't know what happened." He snapped.
