Bring Me To Life

Dustin placed Chris in his lap, looking around at everyone. Mike didn't seem like he could do this, tears blurred his vision and made him hard to understand but he made his way upfront, tripping twice before he got there. Mike stood for a moment, wiping his eyes and trying to calm down. He finally sniffled and looked out at everyone.
"Y-You guys pr-probably wont be a-able to under st-stand me but r-right now I-I really dont g-give a f-fu-fuck." Mike whimpered lightly, chewing on his lip as his knees grew weak. "R-Rick was my b-baby boy....Ju-Just as much as any other k-kids of mine. I-I loved him a-and I st-still love him with all my h-he-heart." Mike choked out, hand coming up to press his aching chest. "H-He was one of th-the bed sons I-I could have as-asked for and even though w-we fight I loved my b-baby....H-He was pr-precious and my family w-will never we the s-sa-same without him...." Mike shook his head. "I-I don't have mu-much more to s-say, if I tried to say ev-everything we would b-be here for-forever." He stepped off, falling to his knees beside the casket. Mike looked at Rick's body, sobbing harder as he pressed kisses to both cheeks and his forehead, whispering soft words of love before stumbling back to Alex.

Alex hugged his lover, kissing his cheek before going up. He rubbed at his eyes.
"Well Rick went from being my best friend to like a son to me. He never called me daddy though and that was fine. I've loved him to death sincee the day he was born and I still do. I always will. Rick made my baby boy so happy and he gave me grandbabies and... he just made my life so much better. By making my baby happy. I'm so glad Rick found Kevin cause if he hadn't.... who knows where we'd be now. They're just... the perfect two." Alex smiled softly and bent down kissing Rick's forehead. "Imma miss you Rick. So much."

Mike looked over at Kevin, chewing his lip. He didn't know if Kevin would be able to stand and say anything, he was clutching into Zac for all he was worth, crying into his chest. Mike's heart ached for him.

Zac gestured Quincy over to him and his mother. When he was close enough he yanked him over to take his place holding Kevin. He walked up to the front.
"Well I'm Zac, Rick's son... we fought a lot. We never were too close but he was my daddy and I love him so much... He was a great daddy when he wanted to be and other times he was a total ass but still. He was always there for me and he put up with my shit a lot. Even though Jr was his favorite, I'm pretty sure he loved me too." He joked with a small smile. He wiped away a few tears and kissed his father's cheek. "I'm gonna miss you daddy.."

Quincy was twitching as Kevin cried on him, wetting his tux and screaming into his chest. He looked around and shook his head.
"Okay!! Someone needs to do something with Kevin!! I think he needed to humanly euthanize and im not kidding one bit." He really wasn't, he had never seen Kevin act like this. In all truth it bothered him to see someone he had known for so long brought to nothing so quick.

Alex stood and lifted Kevin from Quincy's lap, holding him to his chest.
"Mikey baby, we do have to do something...."

Mike nodded, petting his son's hair.
Quincy nodded. "Like I said, HU-MAN-LY EU-THAN-IZED." He was not kidding, he thought thats what they would have to do to him.

Alex sighed.
"I don't know Quincy...." He frowned at his son, petting his hair.

Quincy patted his shoulder.
"Alex its not funny and im not trying to make it funny. He cant live like this...Thats obvious....If you dont he will it will just hurt more when he does it and he will be alone. This way you can hold him until he is gone with Rick.

Alex frowned but nodded.
"I guess you're right..."

Mike stared at them.
They acted like his baby boy was a DOG!
He knew it was the right thing to do but Rick wouldnt want that....
Mike shook his head and kissed Kevin's head.
"My poor baby...."

"Rick.... Rick would hate that though... he wouldn't want that for his baby boy..."

Quincy shook his head.
"Rick wouldnt want Kevin to do it himself and let one of the kids find their momma dead on the floor....."

Alex sighed.
"True.... he would've wanted Kev to move on but that isn't going to happen..."

"He can't Alex....Look at him...."
Kevin was nothing but a sobbing ball of heartbreak in his fathers lap.
Mike kissed Alex's cheek and nodded.
"Looks like we got another baby to raise..."
Jr would need a mom and dad...

"Yeah we do." He sighed. He felt awful for Jr, losing his momma and daddy so young.

Mike hiccuped.
"I dont wanna lose my baby...Both of them...."
He couldn't lose both of them...
Quincy sighed.
"When you wanna do it? Im sure David can.."

Alex sighed.
"As soon as possible I guess... whenever the funerals over...."

Quincy nodded, sitting back to look at the casket, pulling Zac to his chest.
"Im sorry baby...."
Rick and Kevin gone....
It would never be the same.

Zac said nothing, turning and hugging Quincy close. His momma and daddy were gone...

Quincy kissed his head.
"We can tell Kevin by after the funeral....Put him beside Rick.....They will be happy like that."

"He will..." Zac nodded, sighing softly. What would he do without his momma?

"Hey...You got Mike. Kevin ont be the same baby....Even if he stayed around..." Quincy knew.

"I know baby..." Zac sighed and nodded. He just wanted his old momma back...

Dustin looked over at them, gathered what they were doing, and got prompty pissed.
Not his baby.....
