Lance sighed and plopped down in his bed alone. He didn't want to bother his brother again

Kelton had rolled on top of Cade long ago, drooling on his chest and he snored lightly.

Cade was still up. He rarely was able to sleep. He was an insomniac...

Kelton slept like the dead, snored, drooled. hogged the covers, he was hell to sleep with.

Cade enjoyed watching him. It was nice sleeping with someone to watch while he couldn't sleep. Normally, he just sat in bed, eyes wide as he watched the door, praying his father wouldn't come in.

Kelton was even sucking his thumb, mumbling to himself, moving around.
He was adorable...

Cade smiled down at him, cooing softly to the boy.

Kelton whined softly, he was dangerously close to sucking Cade's thumb too.

Cade wouldn't mind at all. He just wanted something to entertain him and Kelton was working.

And it didn't take long, he had Cade's thumb in his mouth, sucking on it, making adorable noises.

Cade laughed lightly at his friend.
He was so... seemingly tough in the day. But while sleeping he was such a child.

Kelton nibbled on the finger, murmuring about cookies and something of a milk god.

Cade just laughed, smile on his face as he finally let all the thoughts of his father and mother and the consequences for not telling them where he was staying drift out of his mind. He fell asleep.

Kelton was not up early, he never was, ut rest assured, right when his eyes opened he was reaching for his cigarettes.

Cade slept in late unlike he usually did. He was always up at the crack of dawn but today he wasn't up until around noon. He yawned and sat up, seeing Kelton already awake.
"Shit I'm sorry. Was I asleep too long?"

Kelton blinked at him, his mind was still sleep hazy, his hair stuck up in every direction and the look on his face said he needed coffee and another cigarette maybe.
"Huh....Cade baby, I don't ever get up earlier than this, you could go back to bed and I would gladly join you when im done with my cancer stick."

"Sorry... this is really late for me." He rubbed his eyes and stood, walking around the room until he was wide awake.

Kelton yawned, blowing a heart of smoke into the air.
"Cade, wanna go see if anyone is making breakfast?"

"Sure." He nodded. "That'd be good..." He'd have to eat quick and go home.

"Cade." Kelton chewed his lip, thinking of how to ask this. "Can't you...Stay for a while?" He would call Angel and talk to him about it.

"I dont know... I slept way too late... um.." He thought. He was already gonna get his ass beat for this. Why not have some fun? "Y'know what, screw it. Yeah I'll stay."

Kelton grinned, hugging Cade around the neck and kissing his cheek.
"Yay!!"
After a moment he pulled away, blushing profoundly. "Sorry..." He muttered.

Cade was also blushing.
"Um its alright." He smiled.

Kelton sighed softly.
"Are you going to be in trouble...?"
He hated that he might have gotten the boy in trouble

"Most likely." He nodded. "But I'm done caring."
