Tears blurred his vision, he tripped and fell down on the cold, unforgiving sidewalk. There was no getting up, his crutch flew a few yards away.

Alex covered his face, not wanting anyone to see him cry again. He reached out blindly and clutched handfuls of Evan's shirt. He bawled into his chest.
