When Crickets Cry...

"You question Riley! I ain't being blamed!" She ran off. Zac smirked and sat down, waiting for their son to get home.

Quincy sat with him, shaking his head.
"Why does the happy child have to be the little Zac of the family." He winked.
Riley got home, he did indeed have a Twinkie in his hand.

"Well maybe whoever he's going to see is as amazing as his father." He hummed. "Following in his momma's footsteps." He chuckled.
"So, Riley baby, what's the twinkie's name?" Zac raised an eyebrow at his son.

Riley paused, looking at his Twinkie.
"Imma name it.....Diane!!!" He grinned.

"Riley baby, I don't know if you know how me and your daddy got together but, everyone in my family hated him. So I snuck out every night to go see him. Now, I ain't stupid. I know that face. You got yourself a secret dont ya?"

"My only secret is I have play boy under my bed. I just wanted sweet little, soft, fluffy Diane." He smiled.

"Well, I don't like my baby lying to me but I suppose I'll let it go for th enight."

Quincy frowned.
"Im not. Where have you being going?"

"ALright, go daddy." Zac chuckled. "They listen to you."

Riley sighed.
"I have a boyfriend okay? You know meet him later, when I want you too. He is only a month or two older than me...."

"Then whats so bad about him baby?" Zac tilted his head to the side.

Riley sighed.
"Cant say right now momma, on our one year anniversary ill tell ya."

"And how long is that?" His baby had been sneaking out for almost a year?

"Umm...three hundred and sixty six days." He tried with a smile.
Only two weeks.

"Riley I ain't stupid. How long?" He smiled softly.

"Two weeks." He sighed softly, chewing his lip with a small nervous glance to his momma.

Zac's eyes widened.
"you've done this for that long?"
His mother had noticed on the first night... he was awfull..

Riley sighed and sat down by his mother. He kissed his cheek. "C'mon, with Seven kids running around, and im the only one who is normal, why bother with me as long as im happy?"

"Gabriel thinks I hate him, Ihaven't noticed you sneaking out, I heard you and Sean talking about something earlier... Angel is... mentally unstable... Brayden left..." He shook his head, brushing hair out of his face.

Riley frowned.
"Hey, Gabriel is just in a bad way right now, you tried momma. Sean is bulimic and im getting him help for you. Angel....I dont know about him but Brayden left to take care of him...We will be fine. Your a good momma."

"What?" Zac blinked. "My baby is bulimic? My god..." He drug a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, but dont worry, I just found out. Imma help him momma." He hugged his mother. "Your only a baby yourself, I can handle him...just love us and we will be fine."

Zac hugged him.
"I'm trying baby. I wanna be a good momma, I'm sorry..."

"You are a good momma." He hugged him tightly. "You just need help, everyone does."

"I'm so sorry sweety... I loev you." He kissed his forehead. He recognized the smell of his uncle Chris's house but said nothign.
