When Crickets Cry...

"Baby you're right but Zac ain't a kid anymore. The octuplets are fourteen which means he's.... hold on. Too much math." He groaned. "Twenty eight or twenty nine."

"He is still to fucking young. You don't say that to someone you love.....I could never say anything like that to you....No matter how upset I was if I knew hoe bad it would hurt you."

MAtt sighed.
"I dunno baby, maybe he didn't think it would hurt this bad... or maybe its different because Riley was involved..."

"I don't care. I honestly....I dn't want them together but they have kids." He sighed softly. "War was so simply compared to this."

"Have you told Quincy you dont want them together?" He raised an eyebrow.

"No, its none of my business. But I want to so bad Id go back to war just so I could say it. Id die again if they would break up."
He thought about the kids too, he knew they would be fine though.

"Quinton baby..." He frowned slightly, sighign but said nothing more.

Quinton gave a small smile, pulling Matt into his lap and holding him as well as he could with his belly.
"Baby, me and you are good, I love him, he is my brother, but right now I have a baby on the way and my lover to take care of."

"You are so... you." He chuckled, pecking his cheek. Only Quinton could try and be man with a baby inside him.

Quinton chuckled and nodded.
"I know, arent I just great?"

"Yes yes you are babe." He smiled softly.

Quinton sat up, picking his lover up. It was harder than usual, he was pregnant so his back hurt but he was Quinton, he was closest to super man as they got.

"Aw, put me down." Matt whined lightly. "Don't hurt yourself."

Quincy sat him on the bed and kissed him sweetly.
"I love you sweetness." He held him tightly.

"I love you too babe. So, so much."

Dustin had yet to come inside at twelve at night, just riding around on his horse.

Chris put on his jacket and went out after him.

Dustin was out in the fields, just trying not to think about all this.

Chris spotted him and walked over, being careful not to get in the horse's way.
"Dustin baby, come in."

Dustin looked over at him, pulling the horse to a stop.
"Not now babe...."

"Why not?" Chris sighed, walking closer and looking up at him.

"Because I can't look at him right now." Dustin reached down and lifted him up onto the horse.

"I'm disappointed in him too.... I don't think he should be with Riley but... we can't keep him away from the father of his child." He sighed softly

"Im not, Im just not going to look at him right now...I can't. Im hurt." He shrugged and held Chris around the waist.

"I feel a bit better after watching them together for a few hours... they do love each other as wrong as it is." He sighed.
