Cowgirls Don't Cry.

Chris rolled over and smiled at Dustin softly.
"How ya feelin baby...?"

He felt like he was dying.....
"I feel alright, Tired but okay..."
He would hate for Chris too know he had just passed out and then been unable to get up to his room.

Chris pecked his lips sweetly, stroking his hair.
"Get some rest then... you need it..."

Dustin nodded, rolling over and curling up like he never has before, usually he hugging Chris to go to bed.

Chris watched him with a soft sigh before trying to sleep himself.

Dewayne stepped into the room, looking at his father quietly, crying softly.
He was dying....

Chris opened his arms and patted his lap.
"C'mere baby..."

Dewayne sniffled and sat down in his mothers lap, hugging him and crying into his chest.
"M-Momma....H-He is dying on u-us..."

"I know baby..." He sighed softly.

Dewayne cried harder.
"H-He just got wh-where he couldnt b-breath and he p-passed out!"

"Oh he did?" Chris asked worriedly. No one told him...

"Y-Yes, D-Dev was arguing with him and h-he yelled and he c-couldnt breath and h-he passed out and th-then when he got up t-to come in here h-he got dizzy and D-Devin had to carry h-hi-him and h-he didnt say an-anything he ju-just let it ha-happen! M-Mom....N-Not my daddy...Wh-Why him? Wh-Why not R-Rick or A-Alex or Q-Quincy?"

Chris frowned deeply, almost in tears.
"I don't know baby... oh.." His husband was dying...

Dewayne cried harder.
"Wh-What did he do t-to deserve this!!! H-He is so sweet! Y-You sh-should have hear him t-talking about you m-moving on. I-It was so romantic a-and so th-thoughtful..."

chris buried his head in Dewayne's neck and only let a few tears slip out. He had to be strong...

"Sh-Shhhh momma you can c-cry. H-He is as-asleep and I-I dont mind. L-Let it out wh-while you can." Dewayne sniffled. "O-Oh god, wh-what if he did g-get you pre-pregnant momma? H-He wont ever see his b-baby..."

Chris sobbed quietly, stroking his son's hair.
What would he do without his lover...?

"M-Mom, y-you gotta ta-talk to d-daddy a-about what y-you will do wh-when he is g-gone. Y-Your g-going to need he-help with e-everything...d-do you think your p-pregnant momma?"

"I-I don't know... I'll take a test tomorrow..." He nodded with a sniffle.

Dewayne hiccuped, nuzzling his chest.
"Y-You can move i-in with me and D-David if you are...I-I know he wont m-mind.....A-And momma...Talk to d-daddy about when he is g-gone and g-getting another lover okay? H-He is....H-He was so sweet...A-And you would feel better knowing wh-what he thought about it."

"O-okay I will baby..." He nodded slowly.

Dewayne sniffled and hugged on tighter, glancing at his fathers prone form.
He was so weak...

Chris had never been the strong one in the relationship... Dustin was... he'd never seen his husband so weak...

And that scared Dewayne. He didn't know what his mom would do when his father passes...What any pf them would do when his father passed....
Dustin was the strong one....He held them all up...

Chris was trying to stay strong. He knew he had to for his babies...
