He smiled to himself, lying down. Dewayne could kiss his ass...

And that was bad, Dewayne had been a good momma, a really good momma. One time he asked something of Ezra, the boy swore and he was upset. And he would be upset.

Ezra decided he was done letting his mother hurt him. He got dressed in pajamas and exited his room for the first time since this morning, sitting at the kitchen table with everyone for dinner.
David smiled at him.
"I made yours just in case." He stood, grabbing Ezra's vegan meal out of the microwave and handing it to his son.
"Thanks daddy." He smiled.

Dewayne acted like he wasnt there, watching Dayton go over something about some girls ass.
"Baby, how long have you know her?"
"Three hours."
'And..."
"She rocked my world."
"Your a whoreeee."
"A MAN whore." He chuckled, winking at his mother.
Wayne shook his head. "Momma, this is good food..."
"Thank you babe."

"So baby...you gonna tell me what you and momma are fighting about?" David hummed at Ezra.
"Nah, I'm just fine." He smiled at his father.
"You sure?"
"Mhmm." Ezra hummed as he ate his food.

Dewayne looked up at him, rolling his eyes.
Was Ezra stupid?
He could say right now, tell his father about Alex...
But he was better than that.

"Dewayne... babe what the hell is going on?" David groaned.
Ezra knew this... he just hoped his mother loved him enough not to say anything.

"Nothing baby." Dewayne smiled at David, looking back at his other kids.
He had promised not to tell.
And he wouldnt.

"You two suck." David groaned.
Ezra sighed but thanked his mother.
"We're fine daddy."

Dewayne went back to just listening to Dayton talk about god knows what.

Ezra listened to his brother, shaking his head and rolling his eyes occasionally. Why was his momma so accepting of that but not Ezra making love with Alex...?

Because Dayton had been a whore since he was thirteen. Wayne...Well Wayne never told them anything. Ezra was special.....

Ezra didn't feel special. He felt like shit. His mother was always the one he came to... what now?

Dewayne would be there if Ezra needed him.
But he would say he was sorry.
Dewayne trusted him...
And he broke that.
Dewayne was still a good momma.

But Ezra was stubborn. He would not say sorry for giving the man he loved his innocence. He did not regret it...
But if things got too bad he would, he'd beg his momma to forgive him.

And they were going to get bad, Dewayne was...
He was just Dewayne.
Dinner was quiet without Dewayne and Ezra gushing.

David tried speaking to Ezra but he got one word answers until he just stopped altogether.

"Alright, im going out. Momma ill be home late, dont wait up." He winked, walking out.

Ezra sighed and thought a moment before speaking.
"Oh.. daddy, I got something to ask. How would you feel about me going away for a month?"
"...what?"
"I got a big modeling thing in um... New York. They won't me to go down there for around a month."
"Oh... well where would you stay?"
"In a hotel I guess."
He needed to make up an excuse if October went away and he went to Alex's place. And if it turned out October wasn't leaving he could awlays go to a hotel anyway. It'd be nice to get away from home.

Dewayne's head popped up.
"Oh yeah? I dont like you going away for a month to just model."
He was not stupid.
No way in HELL.
He would throttle Alex.

Ezra frowned.
"But... its a really big opportunity momma. It is the ONLY time I will ever get to do this." He hinted, knowing his mother knew what he was really talking about.

Dewayne's eyes...deep brown...
Pained...
"Alright fine...if it means that much to you."

"Thank you momma... I will be fine. I promise." he nodded, sighing and hugging his mother. Even if he didn't hug back.

"If anything happens, and you get hurt. Im cutting off his dick and shoving it down his throat. You call me." Dewayne's voice was low, depressed.

"Okay momma. I will." Ezra nodded, kissing his cheek and sitting back down
