I See Your Blue Eyes, Every Time I Close Mine....

"Kelton baby, can you hear me?" Mike had the boys face in his hands, Kelton's upper body swaying dangerously.
Minute later he made a tiny noise with his throat.
"Mhm..."

Cade smiled softly but worriedly at his boyfriend.
What was wrong with him...?

Mike frowned, gently stroking Kelton's cheek and going through his bag, looking for an IV.
"You havent been able to get him to eat in how long?"

"It's been at least a week..." Cade nodded slowly at him.

Mike hummed softly, letting Kelton fall back on the bed.
"That infection is not wanting to go away....." He pushed the boy on his side, looking at his back.
It was still red, swollen and it was hot. The wounds still trickled the littlest bit of puss and blood.

"Well is there anything you can do about it?" He asked softly.

"Maybe, I think I can. He is just going to be out of it for a while. He is like....really sick baby." Mike nodded, taking out an iv from his bag.

"Okay.. thank you though." He sighed heavily.

Mike nodded, setting up an IV for Kelton, getting on his knees and slowly working on his back lightly.
"Cade baby come here, your going to have to clean his back once daily. You or Gabriel."

"Okay memaw." He nodded, standing and seeing what his great grandmother was doing.

Mike took his time, wiping away the blood and puss, getting it disinfected, putting on some salve and wrapping the boy in bandages.

Cade took mental notes since he would have to do this every day for a while now.

Mike nodded, gently stroking Kelton's cheek.
"Baby, don't get irritated, he can't help it...." He nodded, he knew it could be bothersome...

"I'm not bothered..." He shook his head. He just missed him...

"Well, he is just sick, you can wake him up but you will have to WAKE him up, he might get up on his own but you never know when so wake him up, love him, and spend time with him then let him go.."

"Alright memaw." He sghed softly, nodding his head. "How long will he be like this?"

"No way to be completely sure. But if your taking good care of him not long..." Mike nodded, pecking Cade's cheek.

"Okay then." He nodded, kissing Kelton's temple sweetly and brushing hair from his face.

Kelton eased an eye open, looking at Cade and trying to focus on his face.
"Cade......" He whispered hoarsely, wondering about if he was in trouble in the back of his glazed over mind.

"Hey baby." He cooed softly, smiling down at him.

"Are you...made at...me?" Kelton blinked again, his pupils large and dilated.

"No sweetie, I'm not mad at you at all." He shook his haed.

"But....Xavier...." Kelton moving, dropping himself in Cade's arms tiredly.

Cade cradled Kelton gently to him.
"I was mad at him baby... not your fault..."

"Your warm..." Kelton mumbled, Looking up at his lover, his world spinning.
