"Okay Sir, if that's how you feel then that's how it is." he nurse took her paper and left.

"They're crazy to think I'd ever give up on you baby," Jeff said, sitting down next to Mike. He took Mike's hand in his own. "I'd never do that to you."

Mike's hand weakly squeezed his back, the first move he had made on his own since he went into his coma.

Jeff's eyes lit up. This small movement had just made his day. "That's it angel, there you go, come back to me baby," Jeff encouraged.

Jeff's only answer was the weak rise and fall of Mike's chest, and the beeping of the machines.

"You can do this baby, I know you can," Jeff said. "No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you."

(A year later)
A nurse called Jeff at 6:00, with knew's of his husband.

Jeff picked up the phone. "Hello?" Jeff drawled.

"Hey,your husband Mr. Mizanin has woken up." The nurse replied, short, quick and to the point.

Jeff jumped up. After a year his baby had come back to him. "When can I see him?" Jeff asked.

"He is asking for you, but.....he doesn't remember Hailey, or his parents disowning him. It seems he only remembers some things, t the first words to come out of his mouth were 'Jeff'." The nurse continued. "I think you can come when ever you want and see him."

"I'll be there as soon as I can," Jeff said. This wasn't going to be easy.

The nurse waited with Mike, who refused to talk to anyone but Jeff.

Jeff came in about an hour later, smiling as he walked in.

Mike blinked at Jeff, God how his Jeffy didn't look the same to him. "Hi."

"Hey darlin," Jeff drawled softly. "How ya feelin?"

"I don't know, kinda weird." Mike answered. "Who is the 'Hailey' person they keep telling me about?" Mike asked, his head tilted side ways.

Jeff sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "She's our daughter Mikey," Jeff said

Mike eyes grew wide and he stared at Jeff like he was crazy. "First off, we cant get pregnant. Secondly, I don't want a child, never have."

"We adopted her Mike," Jeff said. "She loves you to death."

"I I never wanted a child though, why would I adopt one?" Mike didn't know what to think, he said he was never having children.

"You told me you loved her from the moment you laid eyes on her," Jeff said. "I was sick, her and her mother were in an accident, her mother didn't pull though, you gravitated toward her from the moment you heard her cry."

Mike blinked, there was no way in heel he had ever wanted a child. "Jeff, I don't want children. That's why it did work with me and Daffy, he wanted kids, I didn't." Mike shook his head. "I don't want a baby, and what about my parents? They don't know anything about me and you so why would they disown me?"

"They've known for a while now Mike," Jeff said. "Disowned your sister last year too."

"Wh-what..." Mike's eyes swam, he couldn't believe him parents had disowned im and his sister. "J-Just because I have a boyfriend....."
