"You're the one that said we we're done Mike, not me," Jeff said.

Mike let oout another humorless laugh and mocked. "You mistreat her Michael and so help me God I'm done," Mike's face fell. "That's whats started it, I may not want the brat but I dont mistreat children. Glad you thought so highly of me."

"Mikey.......Jeff said softly. "I didn't mean to hurt you, I.....I was freaking out okay, I was scared."

"You think I wasn't? I wake up and I find out im married, I have a kid, and no parents. Well woopdie damn do." Mike sighed and ran a hand through his hair. " I guess it dont matter anymore, I love you went to hell in a hand basket huh?"

"Mikey no," Jeff said softly, his voice shaking.

"No?" Mike asked incredulously. "Then where did it go, why did it change? Why am I all alone all of a sudden?" Mike cried.

"Because I was an idiot," Jeff muttered.

"An idiot with a kid." Mike nodded. "Okay, I respect that you love the kid...but I dont, at least not anymore and I dont know why. I dont know whats wrong with me, or why I cant remember." Mike sighed, remembering the talk with the divorce lawyer.

"If I could take it back I would, but I can't....." Jeff sighed.

"I realize you can't....so I guess i-its over....J-just like th-that."

"It doesn't have to be," Jeff said softly, wanting nothing more than to hold Mike in his arms and beg him to come home.

"What do you want me to do then? Come.....home? Live here and pretend to love the kid?" Mike questioned...he wanted to be with Jeff.

"Maybe...maybe some time around her, time back in your old routine will help you remember," Jeff replied.

"Do you think?" Mike questioned, it sounded like a good idea. Mike jumped, some one was banging on Jeff's door.

"Possibly," Jeff said softly. "You stay here, I'll get that," Jeff said, heading for the door.

Daffy was pissed, he woke up and Mike was gone. But luckily for him he knew Mike well enough to know this is where he ran to.

"Can I help you?" Jeff asked.

Daffy cleared his throat. "Michael, where is Michael?"

"Not here," Jeff said, one hand on the door facing.

"Bullshit." Daffy dead panned. "Tell he I want him home."

"I would, if he were here," Jeff said, eyes narrowing.

"You and I both know he is here." Daffy turned around and sent a text to Mikes phone.

I will kick his ass, and then proceed to screw the Kid up worse.

Mike got the text. He knew Daffy wouldn't hurt the kid, but for Jeff and just in case for the kid because Mike couldn't have Daffy hurt the most precious thing in Jeff's life, he felt abandoned but he loved Jeff all the same.

"He wouldn't be here if you hadn't hurt him," Jeff growled.

"I wouldn't even have him if it weren't for you Jeffro." Daffy wasn't going to lie about it. "Thank you so much." Daffy said with a sickeningly sweet tone.

"I'm not letting you hurt him any more," Jeff said. "Mike's been through enough pain."
