She started stoking his cheek, like she knew him and was used to being intimate with him.

Alex cleared his throat loudly.
"Thank you doctor, for taking care of my HUSBAND so well." Alex said, over emphasizing the word husband.

The nurse glared and muttered 'Faggot' under her breath as she stroked Mike's cheek gently.

Alex was beyond pissed now. He didn't want to make a scene and cause trouble. He leaned over and whispered in her ear.
"Excuse me bitch, you might wanna get your ass outta here before I get too angry. Cause, guess what? This 'faggot' ain't afraid to hit a girl."

She scoffed. "I bet, considering your a girl yourself. A man as fine as this." Her eyes flickered to Mike. "Should have a girlfriend, Oh wait! he already does." She hissed.

"Oh no you didn't." Yes he had really said that. "Honey, this." He gestured to his body. "Is ALL man. And you can ask him that when he wakes up." Alex chuckled.

"Yeah, im sure you a good man too, letting him get in this sort of condition." She stuck her nose up. "He needs some one who takes better care of him and," She paused. "I wonder what MAN fractured his jaw."

Alex began fuming, anyone with any common sense should know not to upset a man of his size.
"Y'know what? You wanna go? Hit me, I dare ya." Alex said, gesturing for her to 'bring it.'
"You keep running your mouth. Why don't you back this shit up?"
He was by no means afraid or wary of hitting this woman. She'd been asking for it.

"Im a nurse, I can't sorry I don't want to loses my job." She laughed. "I don't doubt you hit him with the way your acting, I bet he didn't deserve it, your just harsh. And if you hit me, you will be prosecuted and thrown out of this hospital, leaving him." She smiled at Mike. "Alone with me."

She was obviously trying to upset him with this little piece of information. Not gonna happen. He laughed in her face.
"Sweety what part of 'husband' do you not get? He's not even bi darlin'. He is full on homosexual. And hate to break it to you but if he was going to go straight it would CERTAINLY not be for you. He likes a bit of meat on them bones. Oh, and an A cup size will certainly not do." Alex chuckled.

She grinned. "Like you would know, he is smaller then me now. You know, a good husband would have noticed this, wouldn't have let him come so close to dying." She grinned. "And are you sure about that, he may be bi, you have bigger titties than I do Alexandria." By now the doctor was staring at them.

Alex simply chuckled. Her attempts at upsetting him were getting pitiful.
"Why thank you for noticing." He smiled.

She noticed the doctor was done. She leaned down and placed a kiss on Mike's lips. "See you around Mikey." She grinned at Alex and strutted out.

"Oh, fuck no." He shook his head and stormed out after her. Lucky for him, she was turning the corner into a secluded hallway. He drug her into an empty storage room. He couldn't get kicked out if there was no proof. He slapped her across the face.
"If ya know what's good for ya, you won't come back in that room again." He snapped, then before she could say another word, he stomped back to Mike's room.

She rubbed her cheek, she would be back, weather he liked it or not. She smiled and went back to work.

Alex's face was red with anger as he pecked Mike's lips.
"Mine." He grumbled childishly as if claiming Mike again. He waited for his lover to wake.

Mike blinked his eyes open four hours later. Mike reached for his pen an paper. "What happened?" Mike scribbled.

Alex was still furious even now.
"Fucking whore." He muttered under his breath, not really answering Mike's question.

Mike blinked, thinking Alex meant him. Mike's eyes shown with tears and were a light with hurt.

"No! Not you honey!" Alex cooed, pulling Mike into a hug.

Only two tears fell as Mike calmed down. Mike snuggled up to Alex, that had been the best thing to hear as he woke up.

"I love you honey. I'm just a bit upset. I'm sorry." Alex whispered stroking Mike's hair.

Mike nodded and wondered why Alex was upset, little did he know that only hours earlier his hair was being stroked by a stranger.

"I got into a little fight with a nurse, you don't have to worry about it." Alex waved it off, not wanting Mike to worry.

Mike nodded, he didn't want to make Alex say but he really wanted to know why he was fighting with a nurse.
