Mike smiled, it felt so good to be in Alex's arms. He was so safe, it was like nothing would ever be able to hurt him with Alex held him...he was protected.

"I love you Mike." Alex said softly, stroking Mike's hair.

"I love you to." Mike said quietly, trying to keep the tears at bay yet again, this was getting ridiculous.

When Mike's eyes were closed, Alex placed a soft kiss on each eyelid.
"It's alright baby. You can cry. It's okay. I'm probably gonna start bawling in approximately two seconds." He chuckled.

Mike nodded, a hand going down to press against his pregnant belly. He had to wonder what was wrong with him. Why he had lost so many of Alex's babies and may still lose more.

Alex stroked Mike's stomach then whispered in Mike's ear.
"It's 3 am and i finally say. I'm sorry for acting that way. Didn't really mean to make you cry. Oh, baby. Sometimes I wonder why..." He trailed off, kissing Mike's neck softly.

"M-Me to." Mike whimpered. He wondered why he had to always be a problem. Alex was going to war and he still had to worry about him. Mike was so troublesome, he was not worth it. He couldn't even have a healthy baby.

"Want me to finish the song?" Alex questioned, comfortingly rocking Mike in his arms.

Mike didn't answer, he just bit his quivering lip and buried his head in Alex's chest so he couldn't see the tears.

Alex pulled Mike back gently, showing the tear filled eyes.
"Baby." He cooed, kissing him softly while wiping away the tears.

Mike turned his head away. "Alex baby, please. I don't deserve it. W-What if I loose another baby? What will you think? What good am I good for if I can't have a healthy baby." Mike sobbed.

"Sweety you already had two. And of course I'll be sad but I'll still love you just the same."

Mike shook his head fiercely, Alex deserved better. If he wasn't so fucking hard headed he would see that.

"Baby just calm down. All we can do is hope." Alex said, placing a kiss on Mike's stomach.

Mike nodded, slowly. He didn't feel like arguing with his husband anymore. He just wanted to be close to him because tomorrow....he would be gone.

They stayed like that for the next few hours. They were just content silently holding each other.

The morning sun shined through the windows of there room,Mike slowly woke up and then wished he hadn't as he remember that today Alex would be leaving again.

"Hey darlin'." Alex gave the biggest smile he could manage as he sleepily rubbed his eyes.

"Hey baby." Mike leaned up and kissed Alex's softly, favoring the feeling of Alex beside him, how the bed was warm, and it wasn't so lonely.

Alex frowned as he remembered what would happen in just a few short hours. He didn't want to go back.

Mike snuggled closer. "Your so warm." He sighed contently, he never wanted to move again, he wanted to snuggle with Alex for all eternity.

"No... I'm hot. And so are you." He chuckled. He wanted to lighten the mood, try to make himself forget that he had to leave.

"I know I am." Mike smiled and kissed Alex's Adam's apple, sucking on it lightly.

Alex let out a small moan of pleasure. Then he sighed. He was going to miss this.

Mike giggled, "Feel good?" He asked before he went back to sucking on Alex's neck.
