Alex sighed of relief.
"Thank you baby. I want to hold you tight right now."

"P-Please do....I need this, this is the only time I feel safe....like its okay, like we'll make it."

"I wish you could come with me. Nevermind... no I don't it's too dangerous. I just want to stay here."

"I-I would you know......I would go with you, I can go in list right now." Mike was dead serious, he would go to war for his lover.

"First of all you're pregnant. Second, no way it's too dangerous out there. Third, Where would the kids stay?"

"There are complications with the baby so it may not make it anyways, I can go to war with you because I have the will to do whatever it takes to be with you and the kids can stay with Critter." Mike had thought about this more than once.

"Mike you're not comi- wait what? There's complications with the baby?" His eyes widened.

Mike blinked, he had not meant to let that slip, he was screwed. He needed to watch what he said. "No...." He muttered quietly.

"Mike, what's wrong with my baby?" Alex said, panicking. "Our baby."

Mike mentally cursed himself. "Nothing Alex, its fine. Were fine." He said as he rubbed his tummy.

"Mike. I know you're lying to me." Alex said, breaths getting heavier. He couldn't lose another child.

Mike sighed. "Alex, the doctor says there are some complication with it. He doesn't know what exactly but he said that alot of it is......me." Mike looked away, he hated himself enough for it, but he was either doing something wrong of there was something wrong with him. He didn't know which yet, one way or the other it was his fault.

"Baby why didn't you tell me?" Alex frowned. "I want to know these things."

"Alex, as if im going to give you more to worry about. You just need to be worried about staying alive so you can come home."

"I don't care how much it will worry me, I want you to tell me okay?" Alex said soft, but firmly.

No, it was not okay. Mike was not about to do that. "Alex, no." Mike pursed his lips. "You don't worry about it."

"But now I'm going to be worried that you arent telling me anything. I'll be paranoid constantly wondering if something terrible could be happening and I know nothing about it."

"Some thing terrible IS happening, you are in the army you are going to war, that's terrible." Mike said stubbornly.

"Yes that is. But you know what I mean Mike. I mean something back here at home that I'm not here to see."

"I know, and I dont want to you worrying about it. I can handle it." Mike assured, trying to smile for his husband.

Alex frowned, looking down.
"I hate leaving already. But if I have to go I want to be updated on whats going on. And I mean everything that's going on."

Mike stayed silent, he wouldn't lie to his husband if he could help it. And there was no way in hell we was going to worry his lover while he was in so much danger.

"Mike please." Alex gave a small whimper, looking into his lover's eyes.

"Alex dont do that." Mike sighed as he placed himself in Alex's strong arms. "Just worry about coming home to me in one piece."

"Baby..." Alex sighed, tightening his arms around Mike's waist. He placed a small kiss on his forehead.
