"They are already looking for homes and sighing papers. I man told me just a little while ago......or rather I heard him telling my mother."

"No." Drew said firmly. "I will NOT let them take you away from me." He held onto Mike's hand tightly.

"You can't stop them Drew. Your one person and that's the state."
He was going to be a ward of the state.

"Watch me." Drew grumbled. No way in hell was he letting Mike get taken away and put in some foster home.

"They are thinking of moving me to stay with my aunt. She lives in Georgia."
Mike didn't like his aunt much.

Drew whimpered and his bottom lip jutted out slightly. Georgia was too far away.

"I don't want to live in Georgia. Its too far away from you...."
He needed Drew, he needed Drew to protect him and love him.

"They can't make you leave if I have a home for you." Drew said.

"Drew. Your parents probably dont want another kid to bother with and your too young to take care of me like they say."

"Well we'll just see what my parents say." Drew said.

"You need to do it soon because they are talking about moving me from here to where ever they settle on in only a week or two and once the papers are drawn and sighed they cant be changed."

"Alright." Drew pulled out his cell phone and called his parents to come over. It'd be easier to explain in person and he couldn't leave Mike alone.

"Drew, what will they think when they see this?"
Mike gestured to hid back. The gause was so white and the blood seeping through it to form the words 'faggot' contrasted harshly.

"They'll know your gay." Drew shrugged. "I was going to tell them about us anyway. Told you I didn't want to hide it."

"Im not gay, im Bi and do they even know what your sexual preferences are?"

"Nope. They've never asked not like I'm hiding it." Drew shrugged.

Mike sunk into the bed, waiting for Drew's parents and God knows what kind of news they will bring.

Drew's parents arrived soon. They were very worried. Drew hadn't explained anything. Just that they needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible.

Mike cursed, he was beginning to think this was a bad idea as Drew parents entered the room.

"Calm down." Drew said softly. He took his parents out in the hallway. He explained the entire situation in detail watching his mother cringe and look sympathetic for the poor boy.
"And then he carved the word faggot in his back because he's bi. He's my boyfriend." Drew confessed as he finished up. His mother's eyes widened and his father looked sick.
"W-well what does all this have to do with me and your father?" His mother asked.
"Mike needs somewhere to stay and I want him to stay with us."
Before his mother could say anything, his father interjected.
"No." He said firmly. "I will not have you two butt fucking each other in my goddamn house."
"Andy!" His mom exclaimed. She shot his father a look and told Drew to stay with Mike while they discussed this. Drew walked back into Mike's side.

Mike looked at Drew warily.
"What did they say to you?....Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Dad's just bein an ass..." He had no right to talk about bad fathers in front of Mike.
"Sh... i think you can hear them if we listen"
Sure enough they could hear Drew's parents arguing in hushed voices.
"The poor boy was just raped by his own father!" Mom snapped.
"I don't want him giving my little boy AIDS!"
Drew grimaced, his father was going to pay for that later.
"Stop being such an asshole!"
"He will not stay with us!"
"Yes he will."
"It's him or me!"
"I choose him. The poor boy needs a place to stay. And Drew cares about him."
His father growled. He was blluffing. He wasn't going to really move out.
"He is staying with us and that's final." His mother said, then walked back into the room. Drew tried to ask as if he hadn't been listening in.

Mike didn't say anything. He wound be comfortable in a house he wasn't welcomed in.

Drew pushed past his mother and rose to his full height in front of his father. His dad taught him everything he knew about defending himself and fighting, the two had fought multiple times when they angered one another but it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't like with Mike and his dad. Drew could hold his own.
"You have something to say about Mike? Say it to my face." He growled. "I dare ya."

Mike whimpered.
"Drew don't...please," He pleaded to his boyfriend. He didn't want to destroy there family.
