I Dream Of Death

Alex wrapped his arm around Mike's waist and pulled him closer, stroking his hair.

"I dont want to be alone anymore...I missed you Alex." Mike mumbled, his face pressed to Alex's chest.

"I'm sorry baby. I missed you too. I really did. Please believe that. I'm not complete without you."

A smile danced on Mike's lips.
He was sick.
He was scarred.
He was hurting.
But he was loved.

"You dont know what it means to hear you say that."

"Darling, kiss me again. Please." Alex said.

Mike grinned before giving Alex a loving kiss, soft and passionate as his arms wrapped around Alex's neck.

"My Mikey...." Alex whispered. "You're back."

"I never left.........."
A did, but it was okay because he had him back now.

"I know you didn't. I did." Alex sighed. "You left. You died. I should have waited baby. I shouldn't have moved on..." Alex felt his own eyes welling up with tears.

"Alex......I wanted you to be happy. I still do. Lane makes you happy so its okay........I just didnt think you would love him more."

"I didn't either baby. I'm sorry..." Alex sighed heavily.

Mike just snuggled closer. He wanted to say it was okay but it wasn't.

Alex knew it wasn't okay. But it still hurt when Mike didn't say so.

"I still love you though...."

Lane pulled Mike into his lap, taking out a bottle and handing it to him. "These should help..."

Alex whimpered and frowned. HE'd just gotten Mike back. He wanted to hold him.
"Hmm... Mikey, Lane can I go rub this in Sarah's face?"

"No....." Lane answered back as he felt Mike's cheek, his face only inches from Mike's..

"Why not?" Alex whined, giving Lane a look that said: "alright you're getting a little too close."

Lane was about to pull back when Mike turned his head to Alex, his lips brushing Lane's softly.

A loud, almost animalistic growl rumbled past Alex's lips. But like he said he couldn't hit Mike. He simply folded his arms and grabbed Mike's hand pulling him over towards him, away from Lane.

Mike cuddled up to Alex.
"I didnt mean to do that......"
He felt dirty....No one had touched him since Daffy.

"I know you didn't... wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been so goddamn close..." Alex muttered.

Lane growled before standing up and quickly leaving the room.\Mike was silent for a moment. "I think you hurt his feeling?" He had never really seen Critter get upset over something so little.

"Don't care at the moment." Alex grumbled. What right did Lane have to be upset. He had just kissed Mike for the third fucking time.

"Alex...........I feel dirty........Daffy has been the only one to touch me in.....years."
He didn't like it and one way or the other he loved Alex and Critter was his bestfriend.

"As soon as you're better baby, when you aren't sore anymore I'll make love to you.... that is, if you want me to." He didn't want to just assume that.
