Momma's Song.

Rick was about to protest. Mike wasn't his mother in law yet. But he turned and walked in the house.

Mike stood up and just stared at the house sadly. He had given up Aaron but it didnt matter....

Rick informed Alex that Mike was out front. Alex grumbled as he put on his jacket and walked out the door.

Mike was yelling at Kevin and Jessica was simply sitting there listening, her arms crossed as she considered how she wouls make Sarah give her Aaron.

"Mike, why are you here?" Alex asked softly. No matter how upset he was he couldn't yell at Mike.

Mike jumped around a foot into the air before turning around, his eyes soft at he looked at Alex.
"I came to tell you....I gave Aaron away. But I got caught up with Kevin and Rick, then Jessie came here so..." He shrugged and heaved a sigh. "I guess it doesn't matter so ill go." Mike took Jessica's hand and truged off. Kevin's eyes were down cast, he had upset the father who didnt know him in the first place. He had nothing to go with him then and probably dont want anything to do with him now. Kevin looked up once before pulling his eyes back down and turned away.
"Bye daddy...."

Alex pulled Kevin into a hug.
"Don't be a stranger son." He murmured as he let him go. Then he grabbed Mike's hand "Now baby, you, you come here."

Kevin was surprised by the hug, the sweet words from his father. Maye they could have a relationship....

Mike hesitated but then he found himself quick to hug his exhusband tightly.

Alex rubbed Mike's back and hugged him.
"Kevin, I'm not very happy with you at the moment. But that doesn't mean I don't want you around here. You're my son and I love you. SO come back soon." He said softly over Mike's shoulder.

Kevin gave a small nod. He kissed his mothers cheek before hugging Jessica tightly, he was upset and yes Jessica was younger, only maybe fifteen he himself was eighteen. When he died he got a certain age and stopped growing.

Alex pulled Mike off to the side.
"So... you got rid of him....?"

Mike lowered is head and nodded.
"Yeah....he is with Sarah now....."
It was possibly the hardest and most heartbreaking thing he had ever done.
He didn't like Aaron because he was Quincy's, not Alex's.
But he was Mike's baby.
Mike abandoned his baby, left Aaron while he screamed and cried for his momma.
Mike felt like the worst parent ever....

Alex nodded.
So many things wanted to come out of his mouth.
A bitter laugh.
Curse words.
"If it was so hard for you just go get him back," "How could it be so fucking hard?" "I would have done it foe you in heartbeat."
But he could do none of these without being made the bad guy. Well he already was although Mike was the one who had anothers kid.
Yeah, that made sense....

Mike stepped back and frowned at Alex.
"I have been with you for so long......You have something to say? Say it. Alex I love you more than anything, especially Aaron. I hate him because he is Quincy's, not yours. But he is mine, he was inside me for nine months and as a mother its my job to take care of him, more than a father because I gave birth to him. Now I didn't have to think about it, right off the bat the decision was made. But you have something to say baby, nows the time. No one is listening, no one will hear...just me and you."

"Baby... the only things I want to say will make everyone hate me more than they already do..." Alex shook his head, kissing Mike's forehead.

Mike pushed him back.
"Alex, no one hates you...we Quincy does. But no one else. This is not for anyone but me and you to hear and know. I wont ever hate you, so you talk to me."

"Well Quincy can suck my fucking cock." Alex growled. "I hate him too. And baby no, but you'd be hurt. And that's worse than you hating me. And everyone might not hate me but everyone already thinks I'm the bad guy here."

Mike frowned.
"First off thats my job, Critter might have stolen it but was mine first. And your not the bad guy, not in my eyes and not in Ricks eyes and not it Sydney's and not even in Kevin's. What you say might hurt me, it probably will because I can brush every one off but you, anything you say I take to heart but...You have to talk to me...."

Alex couldn't help but chuckle at Mike's first words but it quickly passed.
"Fine... I'm upset. I'm hurt. I know you did it for me but... I just don't see why it was so hard. You say you hate him. But you obviously don't. Kevin told me I'm not half the man he thought I was." He paused and laughed bitterly. "Can I not have weaknesses? Things that make me want to crawl in a hole and cry? I'm sorry if the one thing I can't handle is a six year old kid. Sue me." Alex looked away.

Mike sighed but nuzzled Alex's chest.
"I know how you are, its okay baby...Its strange for me... I really dont like Aaron but he is mine, he was inside me, I gave birth too him. Its weird and you wont ever understand it but....He is gone because I love you enough to let him go, even if you are not mine anymore. And Alex baby, Kevin is like you, he is hot headed as hell and he says things he doesn't always mean when he is upset. He is very protective of me and when he saw me upset, he saw you made me upset and he just got mad, you'll learn to love him. And yes you can, its just different to see because your my strong man, my wall, I leaned on you too much and now its hurting you." Mike sighed into Alex's chest.

Alex leaned his chin on Mike's head.
"Y'know maybe being with Lane made me weak." He sighed. "We're like me and you were... sort of. With him I'm the submissive one, the girl. I'm the one who gets comforted, who cries more often. He might be able to be strong 24/7 for me. But I can't. Everyone has a breaking point. And apparently I reached mine because of a six year old."

"No, I think my fault you broke. I am always crying and leaning on you...Its got to be hard. I'd leave me for Lane too." Mike sighed and wrapped his arms around Alex.

"Baby," Alex sighed. "Trust me it's not your fault. If you want someone to blame, blame Aaron. Or if you don't want to do that, Quincy."

"I think I'll blame Quincy because if not for him, I wouldn't even have Aaron....And Kevin, just know he loves you."

Alex sighed but nodded.
"Alright. But I want to hear it from him whenever he comes back..."
