Momma's Song.

"Your momma and brother?" He had another child he'd never met?

"Yes sir. Momma is a man, a little shorter than you. Brown hair and blue yes and my brother looks just like you."

"In that case I think I'm your father." He smiled warmly at her. "Alex Riley." He nodded. "Well Alex Riley... McCormick."

'Then you can't be my daddy. My last name is Riley, not McCormick."
Jessica looked at him quizzically.

"Well I remarried." Alex said softly. "But if your last name is Riley then yes, I'm your father."

"Oh.........Well then it doesn't matter....Your remarried, when you die you'll be with whoever and momma'll still be alone."

"No." Alex shook his head. "I was actually on my way to go see your mother. I have to tell him sometihng."

"Well you wont find him, he is not at the grave yard, and he is not at the hospital. He is at home and I think I might be mad at you. You mad Kevin cry, and Kevin NEVER cries. He is annoying and mean but he is my brother and I love him." The small girl glared but shrugged and grinned as she found her earring.

"Well if you help me find your mother, I promise, Kevin and your mom will be happy. What I have to tell him is very important."

"Fine but only cuz your my daddy."
She took his hand and led him to her mother's. He could only get there because of the fact momma was his guardian angel. The house was filled with pictures, very cute little house. A prominent picture was on the mantel. It was of Mike, Kevin and Jessica. Mike was bald he had just died, his hair was gone from cancer. Kevin was baled too, he had shaved his head for his mother, so he wouldn't be alone. Jessica had her hair though. Kevin was kissing the crown of Mike's head and Jessica was between them grinning.
"Momma's room." She pointed. "Kevin's room." She pointed again.

Alex nodded.
"Thank you very much." He knocked on the door she said was Mike's.

You could hear the bed creak with Mike's weight and he turned over, he had done nothing but cry since he left the house.
"K-Kevin baby, I said I was f-fine! And J-Jessie...whatever you need if its n-not important, pl-please leave me alone, I'll deal with it l-later."
A pregnant pause.
"If its Q-Quincy you get the fuck out my h-house and stay the hell AWAY FROM ME! AND MY F-FAMILY!"

"It's Alex." He said softly. "I have something to tell you."

Mike cursed.
"A-Alex baby, if you came to tell me....Your not ever coming back to m-me....Th-then s fine...I k-know.."

"That's not what. Just, can I come in?" Alex sighed.

Mike was silent for a while.
"C-Come in...."
The room was clean, blue carpet, walls, curtains. Several places for clothes, alot of personal stuff. Pictures, the room screamed Mike Mizanin. And in the center on the bed was the man the room was screaming, he was laying on his stomach with his face in his plush blue pillows.

Alex sat down beside his exhusband and began stroking his back.

Mike sniffled and pulled the blanket around him.
"Wh-What is it Alex? What did you n-need?"

"I chose." Alex said simply, wrapping an arm around Mike.

Mike let out a small sob.
"O-Okay G-Goodbye Alex...."
It was over.

"No baby. I chose you." He said softly, stroking Mike's hair.

Mike's caught in his throat.,
"D-Don't play with nw like that Alexe..."

"I'm not playing baby. I chose you." Alex said with a small smile.

Mike let out a strangled sound and turned before throwing himself at Alex.

"I love you Mikey." Alex whispered as he showered his face with kisses.
