Momma's Song.

"Sydney.....Aaron.....I dont know if I can come if he cant....Kevin I think will go even if you dont know him but I think Quincy is busy so he cant take him....I would have to bring him on not come."

"Momma..." Sydney looked down. "I-f he comes, daddy won't... Can't Daffy watch him?" She looked pleadingly.

"Your uncle Daffy is what Quincy is busy with....."
Mike looked down.
"I was going to try for you...I knew he and critter would be their together but I was will to go and ignore it if possible....he cant even try for you?"

"Quinton? Anyone?" She was desperate.
"And of course he'll try but I don't want to make him hurt." She frowned.

Mike hung his head.
Did she nit care that he was going to hurt seeing Alex with Critter? Knowing Alex loves him more?
"That's like asking your father to leave Critter...and Critter is not your baby brother."

"Momma... I love you. But do not call him my brother." She said softly. "And momma, I'm sorry. I know you'll hurt too but I don't know what you're feeling like. I know what daddy feels like every time someone mentions or he sees Aaron. I know how that feels. And it ain't fun."

Mike shook his head sadly.
"Well thats just chipper. He is your brother weather you like it or not. He is no bigger than a minute and you hate him? Sydney thats not fair and I am ashamed of you and your father. Hate me and Quincy all you want but that little boy." Mike looked over at him playing power rangers with Rick.
"And your right, you dont know because I guarantee you nor your father will ever know hoe much I hurt, will never know the pain I am in at knowing he loved Critter more. But then again I was always the only one who put me aside for my family." Mike turned away from her.

"Momma look at me. You don't be ashamed of me and ESPECIALLY don't be ashamed of my father. How would you feel if daddy and Critter had a child? You know it would hurt so do not even try to make me feel bad for hating that child. I simply won't."

"Sydney, you know what? Your grown, im not going to baby you, but he isn't even seven yet goddamnit! I dont know where you or your father get off at being pissed at me! Im not the one who fucking loves someone else more than your daddy! Im not, but you know what? Aaron is my BABY I love and I love you and your brother and father but damnit! Aaron is here your not! you dont even visit, neither does your daddy!" Mike growled and stomped off to get his child.

"I wasn't asking you to baby me! I was asking you to show one goddamn ounce of compassion for me or daddy! You aren't the only one hurting!" She stormed off, almost in tears. Rick caught her by the waist and calmed her almost immediately.

Kevin had by now showed up and hugged him mother. Kevin was the oldest child, he was the only one to calm his momma. Mike laughed as tears fell from his eyes. Aaron hugged his mommy.
"M-Momma whats wrong?"
Mike smiled and picked up his baby. "Nothing, it dont matter...."
Kevin kissed his mothers cheek and ruffled his baby brothers hair.

Sydney glared at Aaron from her spot on the ground. She was on her knees, bawling as Rick tried unsuccessfully to help her up.
"It's his fault." She hissed at Rick. "That fucking kid."
"Baby, he's just a child."
"He's ruining my life!" She screamed.
"Baby, baby, baby, stop crying. Shhhhh." Rick cooed as he stroked her hair.

Mike was trying to ignore her.
"Dont expect to see me at your wedding. I probably cant fine somewhere for your BABY BROTHER to stay." Mike hissed at her as Kevin hugged his mother and Aaron.

"Don't say it. Do not say what you are thinking Sydney Hope Riley." Rick knew her far too well. Sydney grumbled.
"He is not my fucking brother. My brother wouldn't hurt my daddy like that."
"Mike, please, she won't admit it cause she's being stubborn at the moment. But it will kill her if she walks down that aisle without you watching her."

"Well what do I do with Aaron? There is nothing wrong with him, he is a sweet child, and Kevin wants to meet his father for the first time so I cant leave Aaron with him! Quincy and Daffy are busy with Quinton! He either comes or I dont."

"DONT." Rick glared sternly at Sydney who pouted. "Mike, I promise you Chris is the only bad seed in our family. Can Aaron stay with my sister? She's sweet as pie. She'll take real good care of him, and if she don't you can kill her and me... and Chris just for good measure." He grinned.

"Can I kill Chris anyways?" Mike cocked his head to the side and Aaron looked alarmed.
"No! Killing is bad momma...." He pouted at his mother and Kevin busted into a fit of laughter.
"Shut up Kevin." Mike was trying not to lsugh but it was hard when he saw how Aaron was looking at him.

Rick gave a small smile.
"You're right little boy, killing is bad. Don't you forget that." He grinned. "Now, Mike, can he? I'm trying to find a way to make my baby happy," He placed a hand on Sydney's shoulder. "While still keeping the peace with everyone. And believe me, it ain't easy."

Mike frowned and looked at Kevin.
"Ummm Rick, Im with you trying to keep peace but knowing momma....well he dont know your sister and your brother didnt give a good impression."

"Mike," Rick sighed. "You'll have plenty of time to get to meet her before the actual wedding if you want. Trust me, Chris is an ass. Everyone else is good."

"Meet who?" The voice of Quincy sounded out as he appeared.
"Daddy!" Aaron wailed as he jumped into his fathers awaiting arms.
"Yo Papa." Kevin smiled as his mother glared.
"Quincy what in the hell are you doing? He is supposed to be with me."
"Yeah but I want him to come play with his uncle Daffy and me."
"We agreed so what in the hell is this, baby." Mike sighed.
Quincy laughed. "Well that is me undermining your athority. This is the fight about it."
Mike stood and walked over to him with a look os distain.
"The fight will end when I stick this size nine shoe up your ass McDaniels."
Quincy rolled his eyes and pecked Mike's lips before turning to leave.
"Wait!" Aaron yelled. "Momma you need to put three dollars in the swear jar." Mike shook his head as Kevin went into hysterics.
"Take him." Quincy left with Aaron leaving Mike to glare at his son and soon to be son in law.

Sydney was silent the entire time Quincy was there, her eyes glaring holes straight through him. The only thing that kept her from tackling him and beating the fuck out of him for getting her mother pregnant were Rick's strong arms around her waist.

Kevin stared at her for a long while.
"Hey, ill try to get something done. I know you want momma their so ill do all I can to get him their but just making sure....if we cant find somewhere for Aaron momma can't come?"

"He can still come. But then our daddy will probably end up walking out after a while of that." She said blankly. Her eyes were cold as she stared at the ground. Rick massaged her shoulders.

"Momma, Sarah-"
"No."
"Bu-"
"No."
Kevin glared and poked his mother in the ribbs. Mike yelped and jumped away. Kevin got closer and began tickling his mother until Mike gave in.
"Fine but if My child, if YOUR brother gets hurt, Kevin...you dont wanna know what type of hell I can bring you."
Kevin nodded before winking at Rick and Sydney.
"Momma'll be there, now, can I come?"
