Somewhere With You

"Well lets go eat baby." Alex sighed as he stood and helped his son off the bed, placing a hand on his back for support.

Kevin made his way down, his mother had already made him and Alex a plate. He and Rick were already eating. Kevin sat down beside Rick and stared down at is food.

Alex smiled at Kevin as he sat by his husband.
"Sick baby?" Rick sighed

Kevin swallowed and stared at his food.
"Yes....."
But he was going to try. He slowly ate a piece of bacon, his stomach protesting loudly.

"Thank you baby." Rick said softly as he pecked Kevin's cheek.

Kevin nodded, already feeling sick....
Mike watched at his baby ate a bit more, pausing to hold his stomach every minute or so.

"Rick, let him stop." Alex spoke softly as he watched his baby eating.
Rick nodded and told Kevin that was enough.

Kevin cursed as he got up, didn't even make it too the bathroom, he got to the kitchen before throwing up everything into the trash can, a small whimper escaping him as his trembled.
Mike quickly followed him. "Baby!"

Rick followed immediately after, rubbing Kevin's shoulders and holding some long strands of hair behind his head.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry." He sighed.

"D-Don't worry about it. Go finish eating...." Kevin sniffled as he gave another jolt and puked again.
Mike sighed and sat beside him.
"You know you still have to eat?"
"I-I know..."

"No baby, I'm staying right here." He continued holding Kevin's hair as he puked.

Mike brushed Rick's shoulder.
"Don't stress him. Back off for a minute and he is okay he can hold him, he is going to have to eat."

Rick sighed and let go but didnt walk away. He couldn't leave his lover.

Mike took his place, a few minutes later he let out a sob and buried his face into his mother's chest.
"Shhhh baby..."

Rick frowned. Why was Mike allowed to hold him?
He sighed and watched quietly.

"Rick. He is sick and weak, you can't touch him. He knows that or you would be holding him now stop that." Mike sighed as Kevin sobbed harder.

"I know." Rick frowned as he walked away.
Alex patted his back comfortingly.
"I can't say I know how you feel this time. But I know its gotta be hard. I dont know what I'd do if I couldn't hold Mike during one of his puking fits..."
Rick simply nodded.

twenty minutes later Mike brought Kevin back to the table. He sat there and stared at his plate, his face pale and his hands still trembling.

Rick made a mental note to himself. He added another thing to the list of reasons to kill himself.

Kevin was trying to eat but when he got a piece of food close to his face he had to drop it and turn away and gag into his trash can.

Rick sighed, stood and pulled Alex into the other room.
"I want to do it." He said.
"Do what?"
"Kill myself. I want to do it tonight."
"Rick, this is a big decision, are you sure?"
"Yes, when he goes to sleep. I'm positive."
"How?"
"I've told Mike, gun down the throat."
"Ah, sounds painful but your choice."
"It's quick." He pointed out.
"Good point. I'll talk to Mike then when Kevin's asleep."
Rick nodded and they walked back in.

Kevin was sick and tired but he wanted to eat, Mike had taken Rick's seat so he could rub his back and softly encourage him.

Rick didn't like that he could no longer sit by his lover but he let it go, simply frowning as he threw the rest of his place away. Alex patted his back.

Mike waited as Kevin slowly ate and fought to keep it down. He was not pleased but he knew Kevin needed to eat.

Rick watched frowning as Alex tried to help him calm down a bit.
