Somewhere With You

Mike sighed and shook his head before looking to his husband.
"Alex, will you put him to bed? Baby he is sick as a dog." Mike shook his head as he carded his fingers through Kevin's hair.

"Course." He frowned down at his son as he lifted him.
"Night I love you!" Rick called, a small smile on his face. This would be the last time he couldn't carry Kevin to bed.
Alex carried Kevin up to bed and laid him down.

Kevin sighed and curled up.
"Tell Rick to come and love me...."
He didn't wanna be alone.

"You're sick, he won't want you to use what little energy you have to say touchable baby." Alex said softly. "But I'll stay here and hold you if you want."

Kevin nodded and snuggled his father.
'Please..."
He wanted Rick though.

Alex wrapped his arms around Kevin tightly.
Meanwhile downstairs Rick needed to talk to Mike.
"Mike, I want to kill myslef. Now." He said firmly.

Mike sighed.
"I knew that when you were itching to hold him and you couldn't. But unless you have a gun, there is a three day waiting period."

Rick turned and walked upstairs to his and Kevin's room. He gave his lover a smile as he grabbed his bag of things, not showing Kevin what he was getting out of it. Then he turned and walked back to Mike.
"Voila." He said as he held up the gun.

Mike sighed and shook his head.
"Where?"
He took his sons hand.

"Just outside somewhere. Wouldn't want to stain your carpet." He smirked.
"But close though, I'm tired. And lazy I don't want to do much walking." He chuckled.
He led Mike outside. But he walked about 100 ft away from the house.

Mike fidgeted nervously, his hand clutching Rick's tightly. They stood there and Mike simply stood behind him and hugged him.

Rick took a deep breath.
"Mike, you don't gotta watch this if you don't want to..."
Sure he'd be more comfortable with someone by his side but it had to be traumatizing, watching someone die.

"Rick baby, im your momma, imma hold you while this goes on. I dont even want this but if it means so much to you ill watch and ill be here..your my baby...." Mike was shaking and he was just thinking about it.

"Stand back though I don't want something to go wrong and accidentally hit you with the bullet.Just take my hand please." Rick said, his hand shaking as he gripped onto Mike's.
"Be sure to tell Kev these were my last words. I love you Kevin Riley." He said loud and clear as he gripped the gun with a clammy hand.
He held it in front of him, taking a deep breath as he stared at the deathly gleam of the gun.
Talking about it was way different than having to actually do it...
He slowly put the barrel of the gun in his mouth and closed his lips around it, pushing it as far in his mouth as it would go.
He shot Mike a scared glance as he pulled the trigger. The shot was deafening as he almost immediately fell to the ground with a thud, ruby red liquid pouring out of his mouth.

Mike had been about to tell him no, about to tell him he couldn't. He had held his hand and when Rick fell, Mike fell with him. He simply fainted. It had been too much to see some one he had grown to love has his son do that to himself it was just too much for Mike to handle. All the blood and seeing Rick's loving face.
There was no way Mike was not going to be traumatized.

Alex heard the faintest sound of a gun being shot. And he knew. He just knew. He thanked god that Kevin was sleeping and had not heard.
And of course this was when Chris just happened to find the house and stroll into the bedroom like he owned the place.
"fuck." Alex groaned loudly. He hoped he had not woken Keivn.

Kevin blinked and looked up at his father.
"What is it daddy?" He questioned weakly, he was still shaky and sick.

"Nothing, go back to sleep baby." Alex said softly as he glared at Chris.
"Hey now, stay awake, Kevin right? I'd like to meet my soon to be brother in law." Chris smirked as he sat on the edge of the bed.

Kevin blinked as he looked at Chris.
"Im Kevin. You must be Chris....."
He had been told about Chris and he didnt like it.

"So, you're the reason my brother committed suicide?" Chris asked as he leaned back against Alex who pushed him off with disgust.
"Chris. Don't. Go back to sleep Kevin."

Kevin's eyes flew open with alarm.
"What?!" He looked around frantically. "Daddy! Where is Rick?!" Kevin asked him worriedly.

Chris laughed softly.
"Oh, he didn't tell you?"
"Kevin. Go back to sleep. Don't listen to him."
"He's outside bleeding to death as we speak." Chris nodded, an amused smirk on his face.

Kevin looked scared, all color drained from his face as he struggled to stand up, running out the door and losing his footing, he tumbled down he tumbled down the stairs.
"Rick..." He called out weakly."

Alex cursed Chris and ran after Kevin. He caught him by the waist.
"Baby, Rick wanted it." He whispered softly.
"Oh he did. He'll regret it in a week or two." Chris shrugged from the top of the staircase.
"Fuck off McGuire!"

"Wh-What!? Why?!" Kevin looked up at him with terrified , questioning eyes.
