Somewhere With You

Kevin simply put a hand to his inflated belly and hide his face in Rick's chest.
Mike stared at him worriedly.

Rick rubbed his back soothingly, resting his lips on the top of Kevin's head.

Mike stood and gently pulled Kevin up.
"C'mon, lets go see if Rick Jr is okay." He carried Kevin into the living room.

Rick stayed there for a moment, head in his hands, shaking off the rest of the tears before he looked up at Alex. Alex hugged him and pulled him into the room with KEvin and Mike.

Kevin laid on the couch, his shirt gone while Mike gently pressed on his belly, getting some hisses and hums from Kevin.

Rick frowned as he watched. He hated hearing Kevin in pain..

Mike pressed his on his stomach, a bit harder then he had been.
Kevin squealed and slapped Mike's hand away, his hands clutching his stomach.

Rick immediaetly walked over, fighting the urge to glare at Mike as he gently rubbed Kevin's stomach, cooing softly.

Mike ignored him and gently pushed Rick back a bit.
"Baby, I got to do this to make sure the baby is okay. I dont like it either."

Rick grumbled lowly but stayed by Kevin's side, glaring. Not at Mike, just into teh air.

Mike was not liking this....
The baby was turned wrong, that was NOT good.

"Well how is it?" Rick asked lowly, still frowning.

"Its not looking too good, the baby is turned wrong....We might have complications with the birth..." Mike looked up at him, his eyes dark with worry.

"What kind of complications...?" Rick asked worriedly.

Mike fidgeted nervously.
"You....The cord..the umbilical cord is wrapped around its neck. It might choke it and if I focus on that and just saving the baby..Kevin will be at risk."

Rick looked down, stomach tying in a knot.
"Well... Kevin can't die again right?" He frowned at his fiance and kissed his forehead.

"No but, this can really mess him up. Mess his insides up." Mike sat back and reached for Alex's hand.

Alex took his fiances hand and kissed him softly.
Rick looked away... what was he going to do?

Kevin cleared his throat.
"Momma, you focus on my baby, on my and Rick's baby. I dont care what happens to me, you just make sure Rick Jr is safe."

"NO. No no no no. Mike, Kevin is your top priority..." Rick said firmly.

Kevin glared at him.
"No momma, Rick Jr is who you focus on. this is my body, this is my chance and this is the baby that is inside ME. I want you to focus on him."

"Kevin NO. We can always have another one. And this time make sure it stays safe.."

"Momma, you heard me."
Mike simply nodded.
Kevin was scared shitless but this was his baby...

Rick shook his head again.
"Kevin. NO. FUCK NO."

Mike shook his head and kissed Rick's cheek.
"Rick...sweetheart this is his choice. If he was wanting to let the baby go that would be different but this is his body. You talk to him, right now.....Im more focused on the baby." Mike stroked Kevin's cheek.
