Undesired

Chris shrank back.
"I-I'm right here baby." He tried softly. But he knew Dewayne never called him momma.... Dewayne wanted Mike. As much as he tried, Chris could never compare to Mike...
"Dustin I'm so so sorry. It was out of my control. The anesthetics didn't set in. Anestesia awareness...it's very rare and I've never had it happen before.."

"And you want me to let you touch my fiance and my BABY."
Dewayne sobbed harder. No he couldnt touch the new baby but he could experiment with Dewayne.
"D-Daddy I want my momma...."

"Dustin this is a once in a lifetime thing..." David sighed, glancing over at Dewayne.
"Baby, I... aren't I good enough?" Chris spoke softly. He had done FAR too much crying today....

"Y-You said you werent going to ignore me, m-mom I see momma maybe twice a week for two hours at the m-most. He is the one who looked at me and noticed their was a p-problem. He fucking diagnosed me and he is the o-only one who has given a rats ass a-about me. I know your p-pregnant and I-I know you and Daddy have b-been fighting so im not h-holding it against you but right n-now...I want my momma. Y-You can go talk baby with the d-doctor." Dewayne sobbed again as Dustin looked at David, can I call his momma?"

"Yes of course you can." David nodded and handed Dustin his cell phone. Chris looked away and left the room, hurt clear in his eyes. Chris had cared. He'd been trying... but Dewayne would no longer talk to him. Every time he tried Dewayne pushed him off.... Mike always beat him... he was always second best to Mike...And he couldn't stand it......

Dustin called.
"Can I talk to Mike?"
"No who else sounds like foghorn leghorn?"
"Hey Mike."
"You knew Dewayne had that heart thing?"
"We just got him treated."
"No he is not."
"Something about anethesia awarness..."
"He want's his momma."
"We are at David Nielsons...one sec."
"Can he come over?"

Dewayne sighed.
"M-Mom its not like th-that. That ONE night you wanted to know whats wrong, no one knows no even momma. But he noticed I was being weird. I didnt feel good. I tried t-to tell you what was w-wrong, it was either "Baby not n-now, or baby tell me later or my favorite, Go tell daddy."

David nodded.
"Of course."

Chris faked a smile.
"Baby it's fine. You want your real mom I understand. Just, he'll be here in a minute." Chris nodded and turned to David. "Can I use your bathroom?"
David nodded. Chris kissed Dewayne's cheek and walked off.
He was always second. Mike was taking everything.
MIke had taken Alex from him.
Mike had had Dustin before him. Was Dustin's everything...
Mike was now taking his son. He didn't care if Dewayne was really Mike's. In his mind Dewayne was HIS baby an dMike was ruining it.
Mike was ruining his life.
Mike was ruining EVERYTHING.

Mike was their in seconds, by Dewayne's side as he attatched himself to Mike's waist and held tight. He cried hard, all he could do was cry.
Dustin looked at David as Mike was explaining to Dewayne what had happened.
"David, im sure your really good and all but this just won't work."

"Dustin please. I'm so very sorry. There... looking back at everything I think there is something wrong with him. Seriously out of place. I gave him the normal amount of anesthetics. I think he might need more than the average. There was no way for me to see that unless one of you told me..."

Chris sat in the bathroom, head in his hands as he cursed under his breath.
Mike fucking Mizanin.
Just perfect. Everyone was just so in love with him.
Oh Mike, he's so perfect. Just so sweet.
Well guess what?
Chris hated him.
Chris couldn't stand him.
Chris wanted to cause him physical harm.
But he couldn't...
So hurting himself would have to do.
He searched through David's bathroom for a razor blade. He'd never done this before but he suddenly had the urge.
Tears poured down his cheeks.
Why wasn't he good enough?
He made the first cut on his wrist, deep and painful.
Why didn't Dewayne love him like he loved Mike?
Second cut.
Why did Dustin obviously still love Mike?
Third cut.
Why had Alex left Chris for Mike?
Fourth cut.
This continued until Chris was a bloody mess and his vison was hazy. He stood and tried to stop the bleeding but he stumbled to the floor, bashing his head off the wall. He whimpered as he reached up to lock the doorr.

Dustin heard the loud sound. He looked at David before beating on the door.
"Chris baby! Come on out!"

Mike and Dewayne were talking. Mike had explained and Dewayne didnt want David to lose this job since he rarely got any.

"B-be out in a minute..." Chris slurred as he slumped against the door, eyes slipping shut.

Dustin frowned.
He didt sound right.
He didnt anser the second time he called.
"David I sure am aorry 'bout this."
He kicked down the door. He fell to his knees at the site he was met with.

"H-hey baby." Chris smiled softly, as if he was not covered in blood.
"Shit." David shoved past Dustin and lifted Chris. It was just his instinct to help people. He'd been doing it for so long. He laid Chris on the bed and gently lifted Dewayne off of it, to the couch. He cursed. If they would have gotten him a moment earlier this would have been easier. He went to work, trying to stop the blood flow.

Dewayne saw his mom and burst into hysterics. Mike was holding him rocking him back and forth as Dustin stared in shock.

Dustin worked frantically. He explained to Dustin what he was doing as he did it, so he would understand better.
He put Chris's arms in tourniquets near the shoulder.
"This, is stopping the bloodflow." He said clearly as he tied the knots, securing the fabric around Chris's arms. He pulled out his syringe needle and injected it into a spot onChris's neck.
"This will paralyze him but trust me it's better this way."
David continued to work. He ripped away his own clothes, using the shreds as cloths to soak up the blood. It wasn't long before he was down to his boxers but he paid it no attention.
After a while he took a deep breath and undid the tourniquets around Chris's arms. He turned around and nodded at Dustin.
"He'll be fine...."

Dustin nodded, to shocked to speak or cry. He just knelt beside Chris's bed. Mike smiled at David.
"Thank you....." Dewayne looked up and nodded. "Th-Thank you D-David...."

"It's just my job." David shrugged. "Now, I'm gonna go get some clothes." He waved with a grin and ran off, back moments later, fully dressed. "All good. How ya feelin kid? I'm really sorry..."

Dewayne sniffled and nodded.
"I-Its fine...."
Mike nodded.
"You didn't know David...."

He hugged Dewayne lightly.
"I'm still sorry."

Chris simply laid there paralyzed. Fuck, why did Dustin have to find him? He'd never expected to lose that much blood.. he'd just cut himself to feel the pain and that would be that...

Dewayne rested his head on David's shoulder.
'Its fine....Thank you..."

Dustin was just....like a zombie or something.

David pecked the top of Dewayne's head before kneeling beside Dustin.
"Dustin... are you alright? Chris... he's gonna be fine. Why he did it, I don't know but that is obviously a personal issue which is none of my buisness...."

Dustin nodded dragging a hand across his face.
"Okay...Thank you...."
He needed to try and get his mind off it.
"About you beng his doctor..."

"Yes, just so you know I wasn't just doing that to persuade you. It was instinct." David said

"I-I know and thank you....So much I just..."
Dewayne looked at him.
"Daddy I want him to have the job..."
"Dewayne?"
"Daddy he had no way of knowing, he was good he really was...."
Dustin sighed, I don't think.
"Daddy is he fucks something up I will take the fall myself. Thats how sure I am."
"After he screws up it will be too late."
"Daddy I would be willing to let him help me again."
Dustin was silent. He had been defeated, he trusted Dewayne.
'Okay..."
"So he has the job?"
"He has the job."
Dewayne grinned, reasted his head on his momma's shoulder.

"Thank you Dustin. You won't regret that." David smiled softly. "Thank you Dewayne." He grinned at the younger boy.
