Undesired

Dewayne grinned back.
"No, thank you Doc."

"Oh hey, I almost forgot." He ruffled Dewayne's hair with a wink.

Dewayne grumbled but he did leaned back.
He was still in pain.
He felt like shit.
He wanted to lay down.

"Hey, since your momma's in this bed, why don't I let you go lay in mine? It's a bit smaller but it'll do if you want to lay down."

Dewayne smiled.
"Please... and he is not my momma. He is going to be a step mom. This is my momma." Dewayne kissed Mike's cheek before standing up.
He let his hand brush Davids as he waited to go lay down.

"It must hurt to move so..." David struggled a moment but lifted Dewayne. He quickly carried him to his room. The one they'd been in before was the guest room.
The walls were painted a bright lime green shade. The carpet was black and fluffy. The whole left wall was glass. When the thick, black curtain was pulled back it was very beautiful, but the curtain currently covered it. With the black curtain the room was pretty dark. Pictures in frames were placed everywhere around the area. He turned on the lamp and laid Dewayne on the bed. He rarely slept in here anymore... he couldn't take looking at the pictures he had up and yet, he couldn't bare to remove them. They were all of him and his former lover. His former lover who had moved on not even a week after he was pronounced dead.
One sat on the bedside table of them in the middle of a deep kiss. David sighed as he turned it around and plopped on the bed beside Dewayne.

Dewayne sighed, his hand finding David's again.
"Thank you....For everything. I....I know its not your fault and you did help me....." He rested a hand on his chest, looking at the pictures. "The words....they helped a little."

"I'm glad I could help Dewayne. I'm so sorry... I feel awful." He shook his head as he squeezed dEwayne's hand.

"I'll make it....But you can make it up my laying with me in here." Dewayne smiled at him tiredly.

David smiled.
"ANd you make that sound like a punishment."

"Ehhh, it might be. Im to much to handle."
Dewayne curled himself up on his side.

"Nah, I don't know ya very well but you seem cool enough." He smiled softly.

"Either lay down or get off the coveres please. It might be your bed but I claim it for the moment..."
He wanted David to lay with him.

David stood and covered Dewayne, sliding under the covers with him. It'd been so long since his bed wasn't empty. Even if it was just this kid...

That kid scooted back against him, trying to let himself fall asleep.
"You really did help me...."

David smiled softly.
"I'm glad I did help." His arms tentatively wrapped around Dewayne's waist.

Dewayne inhaled sharply his body tensed, his stomach sucking in for a moment before he relaxed. He exhaled and rested one of his arms over Davids.

David's eyes slid shut as he held the younger man to his chest... this was nice. He didn't know Dewayne too well but this was just.... nice.

Dewayne was awake a bit longer, the pain in his chest being to bothersome to let him relax.

David simply laid there, wide awake as his chin rested on Dewayne's shoulder.

Dewayne's breathing was shallow, nothing but small gasps of air. His chest felt like something was clawing to get out of it."

David frowned as he gripped Dewayne's hand.
"Hurts?" He guessed

"Bad."
Bit he had been hurting for weeks now. This was just the physical version of all the emotional hurt he didn't let show.
He was not important. The top priority was the baby...

"I'm so so sorry Dewayne... that really is a one in a million thing..." David sighed.

"Its fine David...You didn't know."
He laced there fingers together.
