He Will Be Loved

Rick smield wide.
"I know how he feels."

Mike groaned as he rolled over Rick and stood, he was tired....
But he had work to do.

Rick sighed.
"Sleep momma you're tired..."

"Yeah...." Mike sighed softly. "But Im ALWAYS tired, today is not different." He wondered from the room to start breakfast.

Rick frowned after him. He'd talk to Alex and together they would do something about this.

Mike started his usual routine, he had to stop and rest every little while...He was sleep deprived and over worked, his hands had more calluses on them than anyone else's in the house.

Rick was tired as fuck. He'd barely slept but he got up and walked to the kitchen.
"Imma cook today momma.."

Mike rolled his eyes.
"Cook after you have slept some sweetheart." He gave Rick a light push back to bed.

"But everyone will wake up soon. It's pointless. Just let me."

"Nope, no can do baby. Sleep in." He pushed a bit harder, nudging Rick towards the room.

"I'm not going to sleep, even if I lay downnn." He sighed

"Please baby...For me...." Mike didnt need anymore to worry about...
He felt sick.

"Mike, I don't feel like sleeping..." He sighed softly. "Why won't you let anyone help?" He frowned.

"I would but baby your tired, I can see that and you need your rest Rick...."
Everyone was to busy to help and it was Mike's job as a mother.

"I don't think I can fall asleep momma. I'm stressed. Please let me do something to take my mind off of it.."

"What's stressing you sweetheart?" Mike frowned deeply, pressing a hand to his cheek, a hand that should be soft Like Kevin's but instead it was rough and worn.

"Austin. Biddy. Kev." Rick shook his head. "Don't you worry about me though. You have enough on your plate..."

"Okay, so go to bed and rest so you can handle them." Mike nodded. "Momma said so."

"Momma, I CANNOT sleep. I've tried." Rick yawned.

Mike picked up some of his pills.
"You will once you take these." He offered the pills to his son.

"What are they?" Rick raised an eyebrow as he popped one in his mouth and swallowed it dry.

"Antidepressants, those will knock your ass out." Mike smiled as he nudged Rick was to the room where his husband and Rick's husband's lay, still snuggling eachother.

"Thanks momma..." Rick nodded, lying down and spooning Kevin from behind.

Mike went back to work...He tried to...by eight he had a nice breakfast cooked and the kitchen and living room all cleaned up. Biddy was up in the kitchen and feeding Austin, sighing at the way his mother would not sit down for five seconds.

Even with the pills Rick could only sleep for a few hours at a time. He heard Biddy and Austin so he decided to get up and see his baby.
