When Crickets Cry...

"That alright hun?" Brayden smiled as he laid down on the bed.

Angel fidgeted, not knowing if he wanted to do that....
He couldn't refuse that sweet smile though.
He laid down, away from Brayden.

Brayden stayed away from him, but his arms were open if Angel wanted to cuddle in the middle of the night.

Angel reached over and flipped on his night light, in the shape of a broken heart. The room was splashed in light. Even so though, Angel couldnt sleep.

Brayden was asleep within seconds. He snored a bit, but not loud, just lightly. Almost purring.

Angel did what he always did, he wondered the house, a few lights on as he walked around. He hugged himself tightly, it was cold but he couldnt stop and warm up.
The voices were pissed, screaming at him.
But really, all was quiet in the house.

Brayden heard nothign because Angel was silent. He slept soundly.

Higgy was up early, sighing as he noticed Brayden was the only one in Angel's bed.
Angel was outside, the sun was just now shining. He had a small sheet laid out on the dew wet grass as he laid and looked up at the sky, the harsh wind blowing, trying to take him away.

Brayden yawned and stretched as he sat up.
"Where's Angel?" He said tiredly.

"Outside, cloud watching." Higgy smiled, kissing Brayden's cheek.
"Imma make breakfast. Anything you want?"

"Not particularly, anythings good." He nodded.

Higgy nodded, stepping out of the room to start cooking, watching Angel warily.
It looked like it was going to storm...

Brayden followe,d watching him out the window, ready if a storm started.

"You know...He has Astraphobia." Higgy sighed as he watched. "If it starts thundering and lightening he will hurt himself trying to get away.

He frowned deeply.
"It looks like it might start should I get him before it does?"

Higgy frowned.
"He might not ever come when you tell him too. He might be pissed.."

"Well imma try. Wish me luck." Brayden sighed before grabbing a jacket and heading out to Angel.

Angel was talking to himself, more like arguing as he looked up at the sky with a small smile.

"Angel baby?" Brayden called out softly, not wanting to startle him.

Angel's smile fell, he looked over at Brayden.
"What?"

"Baby, can you please come inside with me?" He asked.

"No...I was stay out there are watch the clouds. They are pretty." He grinned

"But baby it looks like its gonna start thundering soon and I don't want you getting upset.."

Angel paused, thinking hard but nodding and getting up.
"Thank you..."

"No problem Angel." He smiled, leading him back inside.
