"STOP!" Angel squealed at him, Gabriel had kicked a tender spot, it was never the same after he had Cade...

"Then GET UP!" He roared down at him.

Angel couldn't anymore. That spot Gabriel kicked, yeah he fucked that up, so Angel couldn't move any of it right now.
He couldnt...

So Gabriel settled on kicking him oncemore and storming off.

Angel just laid there, wondering what he had done that was so wrong.....
Then it dawned on him.
He was being punished for making Gabriel give up Kyndal...
It broke his heart...
Angel curled up and pretended not to cry. Crying never helped.

He really wasn't... maybe that was a part of it. Gabriel was upset because of giving up Kyndal and then Trever had pissed him off even more.

But im Angels mind that was what it was....
He wasnt worth the loss of kyndal.

But he was... this wasn't how Gabriel worked. If Angel wasn't worth it he woudln't have done it in the first place...

Angel got back in his corner and dried his eyes, telling himself it was okay as he looked at his ribs.

GAbriel eyed him as he moved back to the couch, now on the phone with someone.

Angel said nothing to him, just held himself and cried silently. The effects of having Cade were brutal, Gabriel nor his son knew what he went through. Now he was bleeding internally from that kick. His insides werent there, he was coughing up blood. The kicks had raptured it...

Minutes later, Gabriel hung up the phone and yet another few minutes later, David stepped through the door with some equipment. Gabriel left the room without a word as David went to work on the smal boy.

Angel sniffled and smiled at the man, one of his innocent sweet smiles.
"Thank you..."

"You're quite welcome honey." He smiled back, doing his best to fix everything up.

Angel watched him with a small sigh.
"Dewayne is lucky aint he?"

"I don't really think so." He smiled softly. "But you could say that since he has his own doctor in seconds when he needs it."

Angel smiled, but it was sad. He wondered what it was like to be loved like that...without the beatings....Sure he had nine months but only because he was pregnant...
"David....You want a kid?"

David tilted his head to the side, a bit confused.
"Yeah... really bad. Why do you ask?"

"I have one baby....And Gabriel just hit him. I wont allow my child to be hurt David...If he does it again...My son needs a new home and I know you and Dewayne would be good parents.....Would you be willing to take him?" Angel sniffled. "He is really sweet, he minds good. He is nice and strong too...a really good boy..."

David smiled sweetly.
"Of course Angel. I'd do that for you." He nodded.

Angel hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, I didnt know what else to do....I know he wont wanna go but I cant let him be hurt....you understand?"

"I understand completely darlin'." He nodded. He used terms of endearment on everyone.

Angel kissed his cheek.
"Thank you..."

"No problem." He nodded, hugging him close. "If you ever need me just call okay?"

Angel nodded.
"Thank you again..." He looked at his belly. "Tell Dewayne I said hi..."
