"I'm gonna talk to him about that." He frowned deeply.

"Dont you do that. I like this, this is just showing he is pissed at me, its normal...I would rather him be pissed and love me like always instead of being all weird around me."

"He's gonna be the one who regrets it later on." He shook his head.

"No, we have an understanding. He treats me normal, I act normal, I know he loves me, he knows I know he loves me so we are both happy..."

Devin grumbled and shook his head.
"I still don't like how he's treating you..."

"If I didnt have cancer you would be the same way Devin." Dustin reminded him softly.

"Yes but you DO have cancer." He frowned

"Yes I do and I know that and Dewayne knows that but he also knows I dont want to be treated like im being treated so he is doing me a favor."

"But still." Devin grumbled, folding his arms stubbornly.

"Devin, I dont want to be treated like you are treating me and I dont like it. I allow it so you can feel good when im gone but I dont feel good and im the dying one. Its fine what Dewayne is doing, if I dont feel good Ill tell him that and he will leave me alone. But right now, imma go deal with him."

"Okay daddy..." He sighed, shaking his head.

Dustin stood, plodding off into the kitchen.
Minutes later, Dewayne's yelling rang out.

Devin stood and walked in, just standing there and listening.

"Thats my fucking momma Daddy!"
"And he is your brother Dewayne." Dustin voice was soft but firm.
"What if I tell Alex!"
"You wont."
"How do you know."
"Because they will blame Dev, and he did nothing wrong, it was me but since im sick they wont say shit to me. That wont fly, ill get in a fight quick if Alex jumps on my son, Rick too. Sick or not, I wont have him hurt. He doesnt have his momma, he is losing me so while I have a breath in me, ill protect him."
"Daddy...But....Thats my momma...By doing that for him...what did you do for me?"
"Dewayne im not worried about you baby, your strong...He needs me...Mike was mean to him..."
"Mike is a good fucking momma and your best friend!"
"Yes...but Devin is my baby boy."
Dewayne growled and threw a glass at his fathers head, making sure to miss but only by a hair.
"Fuck you."

Devin glared, stepping up to his brother.
"Stop being a fucking ass Dewayne." He snapped

"Stop being a fucking bitch Devin!" He snapped right back, growling loudly.

Devin got up in his face, so close there noses were touching.
"Calm the fuck down!"

"Why dont you mind your own business!!!" Dewayne pressed back so their foreheads pressed together.

"This IS my business! Don't be pissed at him, its my fault." He hissed.

"Yes it is but he fucking called the people over nothing so its his ass!" Dewayne raged at his brother.

"But I'm still the one who told. Fuck with me, not him!" He snapped.

Dewayne rolled his eyes, pushing Devin out of his way and stepping up to his father,
"You call and get my momma back or so help me god ill never forgive you."

Devin spun his brother around and punched him in the jaw.
"Leave him the fuck alone."

Dewayne jumped on Devin, swinging punches left and right at the man.
Dustin gasped, taking Dewayne around the waist just to get punched in his nose.
A crack rang out, blood poured from the cancerous man's nose but he held his son tighter, keeping him still.
"You both STOP!" He hollered, panting hard, he was so tired...

"DEWAYNE ILL FUCKING MURDER YOU!" Devin roared, his voice heard all throughout the house. How fucking DARE he hit their father. "He's already fucking dying!" He fell to his knees, sobbing into his hands. He just didn't even fucking care anymore...
