"Alex, this wont work if your not honest. Why? He mothered your children. He was with you your whole life almost."

"Lane I don't know okay. Can we not talk about this right now?"

"Give me one good reason to wait? Your hurting him Alex. I think the fact that you can't love him hurt more than what Daffy has done."
It was the truth.

"Screw you." Alex muttered, crossing his arms. He rolled ovr and pouted like a child.

"Alex, damn it stop. You can't do this to us now. We are all three together." He settled Mike h=in his lap so they were chest to chest.

"Stop questioning me and just accept the fact that I don't know why."

"Alex...................."
Mike let out a strangled sob as Critter held him. This was not fair.

Alex sighed and turned back to Mike, stroking his hair.

Critter glared.
"See now. I am trying. You need to try to Alex because this is not fair to him and I am not letting him go back and have Daffy hurt him anymore."

"I've been fucking trying and I don't appreciate you saying I haven't." Alex kissed the top of Mike's head to let him know he wasn't mad at him, then he stood and walked away.

"Alex! How in the hell are you just going to leave us here?"
Critter shook his head and held Mike tighter.

"I need to think! Sue me!" Alex called.

"If we weren't dead I would do more than sue you Boo!"
Lane grumbled and he cooed sweet nothing in Mike ear.

That hurt. Didn't any one give a damn what this was like for him? What he was going through? No. He kept walking and eventually seated himself along a quiet river bank.
No one fucking cared. And it wasn't like he could commit suicide anymore. He was already dead.

"He is hurting too." Mike mumbled into Critter's chest. Critter sighed and let him go. Mike got up and followed Alex, Lane trailing behind him. Mike sat beside Alex and hugged him. "Are you okay?"
Lane sat beside Mike and just watched.

"Fine." Alex lied. "I just gotta think for a bit baby." Alex kissed his cheek.

"Alex....your not fine. I know better." Mike squeezed him tighter. "Its okay, I wasn't expecting you to love me so don't be upset."

"Baby I do love you." Alex sighed. He did. Just not as much as Lane. But right now he did. He was upset with Lane. He knew it was stupid and childish but still.

"Its fine Alex don't bother."
Lane sighed.
"Mikey, your too good for anyone to hurt."

Alex looked back at Lane.
"Can I talk to him for two seconds without you interupting?"

"Can you talk to him without hurting him Boo?"
Lane wasn't trying to hurt his lover, he just didn't want Mike hurt anymore/

Alex narrowed his eyes and held his knees to his chest. He stayed silent just staring at the shiny waters.

"Please stop...." Mike pleaded. "Ill go away. Just stop it..." Mike said as he got up and turned away. He walked back to Sarah and Daffy.

"You should go with him." Alex said to Lane. "I don't trust Daffy." He really didn't but he also wanted to be alone.

"I don't want to leave you alone Boo. You know I love you and I just.....I care about Mike to and he is.....Im not even bothering with it but I don't wanna leave you Alex...."
