I Dream Of Death

"I wasn't fucking thinking. I... was stressed." Alex snapped.

"So you decide to fuck in Mike's bed and then further push him down onto a knife?" He cocked his head.
"At least Ill admit I was trying to hurt him."

"That was a fucking accident and you know it." Alex growled. "I didn't mean to push him. It was instinct."

"So, for Critter, you would have killed Mike. Had he been alive you would have killed him for Lane." Daffy laughed. "Priceless."

"Shut the fuck up. It was an accident." He hissed.

"You would have killed him, almost thirty years of him loving you unconditionally when you left, staying faithful when you went to war, leaving me for you, letting you hit him that one time, Having your kids, almost dying to have those kids, sure he lost two of them but hell that's no his fault. Letting you break him down, im sure he had his quirks and faults but damn. But he loved you so it was second nature to him. I just cant believe you had the audacity to say you loved him MORE!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Alex screamed and stormed back into the bedroom. He refused to let Daffy see him cry and that's what was about to happen.

Daffy laughed, before Mike grabbed him by the hair of the head and drug him out. No one spoke to Alex like that.

Alex took deep breaths trying to hold back the tears. He had been crying way too much lately. But he failed miserably and bawled like a little girl.

Lane followed him and took him in his arms.
"Shhhh Boo, its okay." He cooed to his distraught lover.

"Don't lie Lane. It's not okay." Alex cried.

"Baby, your fine. Im here for you and im not going to let anything happen to you sweet heart."

"It's my fault Daffy's hurting him..." Alex sighed.

"Nothing you can do now baby, he's not yours anymore." Lane kissed Alex's cheek softly.

Alex whimpered.
"Daffy doesn't deserve him..."

"No he doesn't boo, Mike is way to good for him but Mike....He don't want anyone but you and Daffy is all he has so he just dont care anymore...."

"I don't see why he'd rather be with Daffy, with the way he abuses him, then just be alone..."

"Alex....Mike can't be alone, he would cause himself pain then. It would occur to him that it was all his fault that he was alone, all his fault you were gone, it would be worse than what Daffy did. Mike just cant be all alone.....It hurts."
Lane had been alone and not even he could hardly stand it.

"I'd rather be alone than fucking treated like that all the time..." Alex sighed. He just didn't understand.

"Because Alex, you don't love and need me or Mike like we need you. You don't need us, we need you. I have you, Mike needs someone to just make the loneliness go away even if its just by hitting him all the time.

"I do need you." Alex stared at him incredulously. "Why do you think I don't?"

"Because you said it yourself Boo, you can be alone. I have been alone before and it was...............Even I couldn't hardly stand it and now that I've had you,...I dont think I could deal with being alone anymore....But I am too strong to have someone hit me...."

"I just couldn't take someone treating me like shit all the time..." Alex frowned.

"Yeah.....But we were alive and Mike he just......got used to it I guess..." Lane mussed quietly as his looked at Alex.
If it were up to him Mike would be with him and Alex right now.

Alex frowned.
"I hate it... seeing him treated like that.."
