Momma's Song.

"I find it funny the way momma is still so hung up on daddy." Kevin grinned. "I have no hope because daddy has moved on to Critter but still, its nice to just see how much momma loves him." Kevin wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "And F.Y.I I kicked Quincy's ass after momma found out he was pregnant, hell momma didnt know they had done that and when he found out.....all hell broke loose."

She looked up at him, slightly bitter.
"I'm glad you find it funny." The corners of her mouth turned down slightly.
"And thanks. But I still want one shot at him."

"Hey now, you have to remember that I was never born. I didnt get to see the,m together so I dont know what you do. But its funny because most people would let daddy go, they would hate him. But momma loves him as much as ever, daddy is with this other guy, momma's still faithful to him. Its sad really."

"Exactly. It's sad. Not funny. At all." She shook her head softly. "It's awful."

"You just let daddy know that momma...momma would never hurt him like this on purpose, he didn't want the kid, he hates him even though he acts like the loving parent. You just tell daddy so maybe it'll be easier for him knowing momma is still faithful to him."

Sydney nodded slowly.
"I just hate that kid so much... cause now there is no way in hell Momma and Daddy will get back together..."

"I dont see why. That kid is in no way momma's fault, is daddy really going to blame him for it? You should have seen how heart broken he was when he found out."

"It's not that. Daddy can't deal with seeing Aaron. Seeing Mike love a child so much that isn't his. Unless Quincy would take him all the time then it's hopeless."

"Lemme tell you this, momma would give Aaron up in a heart beat for daddy and Quincy would have to take him....but Daddy loved whats his name more, he wouldnt leave him for momma."

"A part of me likes to hope he will one day..." Sydney sighed.

"Well...Momma will be there to help you get ready, I know he will and...talk to daddy, maybe it wont be so bad if he knows momma is still faithful...momma hates Aaron too and its not his fault, Quincy is an ass." Kevin glared at the ground.

"Okay, thank you Kevin." She hugged her brother. "You mind if I come down here every so often? To talk?"

Kevin beamed at her.
"I would love that, I wanna have a relationship with you, I have always wanted to know my family." Kevin was happy as could be.

Sydney grinned.
"Well I'm glad I have you. Of course I love my other brother. But we always fought a lot." She smiled.

"Im the original Alex Jr. Witch it changed when they had you two but that was my name, momma said daddy was set on it....I cant wait to meet daddy for the first time." Kevin stood up and hugged Sydney.
"And Rick, it was nice meeting you. And yeah momma is a bitch but he is my bitch and it was nice for him to meet you too."

Rick chuckled.
"Nice meeting you too Kevin."
"Oh! You want to come meet daddy now? He's just at home with Critter and Carrie." She asked excitedly. Rick hadn't seen her this happy in forever.

"Ummm, okay....I guess that would be fine. I was going to have momma introduce me because I have no idea who he is but this works to." Kevin was also very excited now, but Kevin was alot like his father, he liked to laugh and he got very excited at times.

Sydney grinned. She was feeling very childish. She took Kevin's hand and practically ran out of the cemetery, dragging him along. Rick laughed and followed slowly behind.

Kevin reached back to grab Rick's hand as his little sister ran them to his father. He was a little nervous but he couldn't wait to see his daddy.

Sydney paused outside the front door and let Kevin go.
"Stay here." She grabbed Rick and walked inside.
"Hey baby... how'd things go with momma?" Alex asked as he hugged his daughter.
"Could've gone better." She shrugged. "But we got his blessing and I think he's coming to the wedding." She gave a small smile and wave as Critter appeared in the doorway.
"But I have someone you two should meet. Daddy, Critter, meet Kevin Riley." She walked away and pulled Kevin into the room.

Kevin stood there and just stared at the man his mother loved so much. He coulis see that he looked the most liked his dad, more than Sydney or Alex Jr did. Kevin forced the shyness away, this was his father.
"Hey dad." He held out his hand, not knowing if his dad wanted a hug or what, or if he even knew who he was.

Alex stared for a moment. He knew this was his son. He just didn't remember having him and tht could be a problem.
"It's you and momma's first baby. The one that didn't make it." Sydney leaned over and whispered.
"Oh!" Alex said as a smile took over his features. "Now, I'm your dad. None of this hand shaking crap. He held open his arms for a hug.

Kevin beamed at him and hugged his father tightly. He smelled like some of the shirts his mother wore to bed. Kevin in haled his fathers sent, just trying to take in everything about his dad at once. Kevin himself smelt like Mike and a smell that was all his.

"It's great to finally meet you son." Alex smiled as he pulled away. "You look... just like me."

Kevin grinned.
"So i've been told. Momma and Daffy tell me that all the time, well Daffy does. Momma will say that and then go sulk." He laughed. "Its funny to live with all of them. Its nice to finally meet you."
